A lot of great suggestions, my faves have been NuNu’s, Katchner’s (smoked), and I love hitting Rabideaux’s and In-Laws on either side of I-10 in Iowa. But, believe it or not, none are any better than a guy makes in Larose on the Grand Isle 4 lane. He used to have a store front called Off the Bone, it burned down, now he’s selling out of a trailer in front of one of the big mechanical shops north of there and it’s called Rednr. Easily in the same league as any in Acadiana.

Imagine watching the game in a bar in Grand Isle, where half the patrons are related to Bordelon, and the rest love him because “he talks like us”. While Herbie is circling him spinning around as they are blowing past him. Awkward. He was God awful.

Our interior OL is really bad, and pressure up the middle is worse than from the edges, especially when you have a mobile, but short QB that throws sidearm. More batted balls/deflections in 3 games than I ever remember in a season. It takes away the middle of the field when your lineman that are several inches taller than you are being pushed back into your face. Have to question our S&C again. We’ve had a stretch of several years now where every team on our schedule seems more physical than we are in the trenches.

Once again, we seem to have a bevy of midget receivers that cannot gain separation. Idk how talented they might be, we have almost no data. The OM WR’s were long and made a lot of catches with their hands.

Chambliss was dropping dimes in the first half. We will not face another QB this season that good. What’s inexplicable is how little pressure we created, their OL was not thought to be a strong point, but they manhandled us. And picked up virtually every blitz. The couple of times we got to him, he made bad throws.

If Trey’Dez is lost for the season we go from a 10-2/9-3 team to LSU 8&4 or worse. And I am also puzzled about Gage coming in off the bench and getting some carries in crucial situations. Obviously the coaches feel like he’s better than our two holdovers.

Baker made great halftime adjustments, then inexplicably went back to what got us dived up in the first half at crunch time. A real head scratcher.

Why do we keep running behind the two worst of our OL??
