NWC who outside of Gabe has the most intel. He just said like two days ago that a lot of progress was made during the bye week. There's a board meeting in two weeks, we will know a lot after that.

Be kinda funny if Mizzou & PSU swapped coaches.
In the end, I think Mizzou keeps Drink.

Lets be honest, if we lost to TAMU and OU, Im not sure any program that's "better" will want him.

Drink knows his schedule at Mizzou is about to get way more difficult.
Those easy SEC East schedules made it appear that Mizzou, South Carolina, and Kentucky coaches were doing some phenomenal job, when in reality they were just living off way easier schedules relative to the rest of the league.
Mark Stoops made a fortune off fooling everyone. Four OOC cupcakes + Mississippi State + Vanderbilt often guaranteed him 6 wins. Throw in some other Eastern team being garbage that year, and Kentucky easily had 7 wins. Win the Music City Bowl and suddenly you’re getting a major raise and a huge buyout despite going 0-5 against ranked teams.
Kentucky was exposed when expansion caused their schedule to finally get a major upgrade. Now after 2 years of playing a decent schedule, everyone thinks Mark Stoops is no longer this great coach. Imagine that.
Mizzou hit the scheduling jackpot in 2024 and 2025… somehow getting the easiest possible schedule. Drink now looks like this masterful coach because of it. And if he’s smart he’ll leverage it for way more money or a better job.
But wait until next season when Mizzou finally plays a decent schedule relative to the rest of the league… they’ll be exposed just like Kentucky was.

Hopefully that is true he won't be coming to Florida.

Well Schlitty27 vaguely suggests it, then it’s official.

Bama, @Vandy, TAMU and OU make for a decent schedule. .Auburn and USC sucked, that's not really on us or drink.

Why get Drink when the last coach couldn't win the big game?

It's possible pedo st tries to get Drink but I don't think he'd fit in well there. People doubt he'd fit in at Florida, well it would be an even bigger mismatch at psu.

Kentucky just sucks now
They’re losing to bad teams and have ever since 2022. South Carolina looked like a playoff team against them
