Should be an interesting game and a critical one for each team. Who will win this one ?

I can see it going to OT potentially. My gut says TN gets away with it in that scenario, but could go either way.

I think Tennessee is the better team but you never know with these games.

Yeah, I don’t like either team after the BS that happened out in Norman last year. I think that Tennessee has the edge with it being in Knoxville.

UTk. OU goes into a tailspin, fires Venables, brings Heupel home, we hire Venables, UTk hires Golesh and he can't handle the job, sparking another 15 year rebuild at Hillbilly U.

Tennessee wins. Has OU beaten anyone worth nothing this year?

They beat Michigan. They beat Auburn (yes Auburn has lost a lot of close games, but their defense is good). They beat South Carolina 26-7 (in an away game), and dominated them.

I’m not sure. R Mason Thomas for OU is an absolute monster rushing the passer and their defensive front in general is probably best in the sec. But this is by far the toughest road game they have played. Not sure how the other side of the ball will go.

heupel at okie could be an issue. but maybe utk could hire billy napier, with say a 100,000,000 guaranteed buyout, to balance it out? maybe? i mean christmas is on the way, right?

OU defense is better than ours, and Matteer is getting healthy.. I think it'll be a 4qtr game that OU pulls out...

Playoff eliminator game. I'll take UT but turnovers under pressure could undo them.

One of the few time I will actually be pulling for a Puke Orange win.

A part of me is rooting for Tennessee to beat OU that way OU will already have three conference losses and we'd own the head to head with Tennessee. Granted it didn't matter last season, but I'd rather have a three loss OU team coming into TTown knowing they don't have a shot at the SECCG rather than a two loss team still with a shot. Just my line of thinking.

I think Tennessee is going to win this one. The best way to neutralize a good defense is to use tempo and space. Heupel going to go back to basics for his offensive scheme. They've seemed to like more condensed sets this year and shy away from NASCAR tempo. With OU's defense, I think you want to take away their ability to disguise coverages and blitzers. Best way to do that is by doing what Heupel always did to Saban: spread the defense out sideline to sideline and go fast on any successful 1st down play or 3rd down conversion.

This game is critical for many reasons:
We beat TN, we want TN to beat Oklahoma for several reasons. It helps with our schedule, and we want Oklahoma to start fall apart when they play us.
