We've been good at containing running QBs so far. (J. Daniels, Lanorris Sellers) Pavia may be another level though.

I will defer to Bama fans as you have played both. I'm not feeling very confident.

Ole Miss would like a word.... but the loser of this game is certainly out of contention for a spot

Very competitive game. I trust Pavia more than Pribula so I lean Vandy, but I could see it going either way.

Float the Anchors! Or whatever the hell they say.
Vandy by 2 TD's.

Mizzou is used to playing in a high school stadium but give me the Commodores!

Missouri played us tougher but we were on the road. Don’t know but there’s just something about this Vanderbilt team.

Jayden Daniels?
More like Jalon Daniels of KU, Sellers and Arnold. Still, 3 very good running QBs. Tigers have been employing a spy against those types, and they have been very good at it -- Jacobs and Trotter.
The Tigers beat Vandy with Pavia last year, and the D is a lot better this year. And Vandy as a road venue isn't much of a factor.
Tigers win.

3rd straight toss-up game.
My heart says Mizzou, but my memory says kicked-in-the-nuts loss in the most Mizzou-like fashion (5th down, Flea Kicker...).
Vandy by 2.

Missouri history of consecutive road/travel games by year (starting at 2008, because that's how far back fbschedules.com goes back):
2008 - W/L (beat Iowa State, then lost to Kansas in KC)
2009 - None Played
2010 - L/L (Lost to Nebraska, then lost to Texas Tech); W/W (beat Iowa State then beat Kansas in St. Louis)
2011 - L/L (Lost to Oklahoma, then to Kansas State); W/L (beat aTm, then lost to Baylor
2012 - L/W (Lost to USCe, then beat UCF); L/W (Lost to Florida then beat UT)
2013 - W/W (Beat Vanderbilt then beat Georgia); W/W (Beat Kentucky, then beat Ole Miss)
2014 - W/W (Beat aTm, then beat UT)
2015 - L/L (Lost to Georgia then lost to Vandy)
2016 - L/L (Lost to LSU then lost to Florida)
2017 - L/L (Lost to Kentucky then lost to Georgia); W/W (Beat Vanderbilt then beat Arkansas)
2018 - L/L (Lost to USCe then lost to Bama)
2019 - L/L/L (Lost to Vandy then lost to Kentucky...and to Georgia after a Bye)
2020 - L/W (Lost to Florida then beat USCe after 2 consecutive bye weeks)
2021 - W/L (Beat Vandy, then lost to Georgia)
2022 - None Played
2023 - None Played
2024 - L/W (Lost to aTm, then beat UMass)
If you look at the history of Missouri and consecutive away wins, they've won both games 5 times (4 times since joining the SEC). Half of those W/W occurrences involved games against Vandy in Nashville.
Overall, in consecutive game weeks that involve Vanderbilt, Missouri is 3-2 vs the commode doors. But in those weeks, when Vanderbilt is the 2nd game instead of the first, they are 0-1.
What does this all mean? It means that I've got to work on cutting back on my caffeine intake... Other than that...who knows? I guess I'm thinking the Gold and Black team (the one with the transfer QB whose name starts with a P and ends with an A) will win on Saturday.

Two good coaches. Two good QB's. Should be a good game since they are definitely playing to remain relevant in the playoff race. The loser is done with the logjam at the top of the SEC.

UM DL is MUCH better. Pavia over Pribula by a bit too though. That's not a total knock on Pribs as he is a really good athlete. It's just hard to beat multi-year starting experience. Close game with TOs deciding it.
