Arkansas is going to hire Dan Mullen

There is a report out today that Lashlee wants the job but has pulled his name from contention because he wants to be more seasoned before jumping to Ark/SEC and he has so much AT SMU, it will take a gigantic offer to pull him away.
That leaves the Arkansas BOT (Hunter Y is not making this hire) with Sumrall and Merlens as their other top 2 choices.
Sumrall will likely go to Kentucky if/when they fire Stoops, and Merlens is pushing heavy behind the scenes for the Ark job and he's third on the Ark BOT's list.
He'll be back in the SEC soon, folks. That weird bastard is going to crash at Arkansas unless he has a shite load of NIL.

The fact that CFB has essentially turned into a pro league probably benefits guys like Mullen that aren't fans of traditional recruiting but are damn good XO's guys.

Well he’s making 3.5 million where he is so the price may be in range for this program. That’s what’s important to them.
