In just a few short years we have sold our eagle to Philadelphia, sold a home game to Atlanta, and have massive bright yellow advertisements on both ends of our field.

The only reason rolling Toomers corner isn’t in the pros is because no one else thinks that shite is cool

I’m probably down on the sport because my team has been shite for the last 6 years running. But this is sad

Unfortunately, no. But, it is significantly harder to stomach the loss of tradition when you're also losing on the field.

Whole sport is going corporate.

I imagine it sucks extra when your team is in the midst of a historically bad run.

Kentucky’s stadium is named after a grocery store. So no. It’s not just Auburn.

Wonder if we can double up with them and sponsor our OL as well?

They have plenty of money. They need to be sponsored by a hearing aid company

Oh man that's just so corporate I can see it.

ESPN adds a stage out front of Samford Hall with some bro-country band that no one has ever heard of, with popup stands selling $16 Bud Lights.

We've got Tyson and Walmart logos on our field and they are currently marketing naming rights of the stadium, I'd assume to the highest bidder within reason. It's just what the sport is now.

At least the Baylor game thing is just one year and it's OOC. We played A&M at Jerry's World for like thirteen years and most of those years, it was a conference game.

In all seriousness though, did whoever came up with the gameplan expect the tackles to be able to hear a clap on the road in the SEC?

So? South Carolina has a CAT dealer ad at Brice Williams.

Problem is people keep paying $16 for the Bud Lights.

Y'all want to make a change? Experience some pain for a few years by boycotting it all. That's how capitalism works. If the capitalists get too uppity, we can take our money and time elsewhere.

I will not be going to Atlanta to watch Auburn-Baylor. With how much we've sucked the past 6 seasons, I won't watch on TV either. If enough people make a stand and show them that this is a profit loss decision, they will go back to what makes the fans happy.

But no one will do that. Ever. We're all sheep.
