Lane Kiffin has always looked up to Steve Spurrier. It's why he wears the visor every game like the ole ball coach did.

I reckon Lane would be great if he could find some defense. He would do pretty good at Florida

UF football in the 90s was peak college football entertainment.
Games were incredibly fun to watch and the storylines were amazing too between Spurrier's barbs and rivalries.
When we win we'd score big and when we lost our QBs would have 6 INTs and Spurrier would be throwing visors and rotating until he could find a QB that wouldnt toss an INT.
Not sure it'll ever be topped. Ill die on that hill.

Pretty much every offensive coach says the same thing. I know Freeze idolizes spurrier. He may be available soon.

He is the closest I have seen to the Head Ball Coach. I don't believe that he will ever coach at UF but it would be fun to watch. Heck, watching him at Ole Miss is fun. Hotty Toddy, I hope this is his year to win it all.

Couldn't agree more and I'm 100% prepared for us to not get him. Makes me very sad for the state of the UF Football program. I'm not even 100% sold on the fact that Lane would bring us titles but he'd bring the excitement and fun back to the program.
