UGA is very lucky not to have two losses right now

Tennessee out played them most of that game and only lost because of a missed FG.

I was surprised that Bama not did score any more points against them in the second half though. Kirby's young defense will probably get better every game.

The SEC is wide open this year.

Bama, Tennessee, Aggies, UGA, Ole Miss and Miss State and possibly Vandy look like they can beat each other on any given Saturday.

The rest of the teams are too challenged offensively.

Grubb had a series or two in the second half where he went braindead. We also missed a FG to start the 3rd qtr.

We haven't showed but about 25% of the offense.

Georgia’s defense seems to be off a little. Tennessee and Bama both took them up and down the field

Defense also went nonexistent allowing two very long drives in second half not allowing Bama to have the ball.

Bama is also very lucky, probably more so, not to have two losses as well.

I think this was a must win game for DeBoer. I don’t think the Bama folks would have been very forgiving if he put up two losses before the end of September.

After hat offensive effort yes. Bama fans were not as upset about the loss as the lack of effort. That seems to have been addressed.

One of the teams will probably get in the playoffs but I don't think either team is balanced enough on offense and defense to be a serious contender.
Ohio St. looks like the best team again this year and will not be surprised to see a repeat NC.

UGA continues decline.

It's obvious that after winning 2 NCs in a row there's nowhere to go but maintain or decline.

But the decline after 2022 hs been consistent, especially on defense.

Very surprised at how inept the Georgia offense is. This seems to be the worst Georgia team in years

I'm very upset watching Bama's defense , the lack of one. We seem to be built to stop passing teams and we ain't facing those type of teams in this league.

We are running a Sun Belt defense in the SEC and it isnt working

Every SEC team has flaws. I’d probably never start the season with a powerhouse OOC team. Wait until week two at least

Especially our schedule. We no longer have our rent a wins: State, Ole Miss and Arkansas.

I said when Monken departed that UGA offense would decline. I was assured that Bobo would be fine.

UGA had a ton of penalty issues, drops, coverage issues and fumbled inside their own redzone. That was a frustrating game to watch for sure as a UGA fan but I think this is a case of sometimes it is easier to ignore issues if you win. UGA ran for 7ypc and over 225 yards. I’m not sure what the stats are historically but teams that to that rarely lose. If anything, I could argue that the Tennessee game that left me concerned. I think UGA running all over Alabama is a lot more sustainable or repeatable than Alabama converting 3 downs at a historically hot rate.

You could easily say the same for Bama right now.
UGA did just as much to lose that game than Bama did to win it.

Georgia is the defending SEC Champion from last season.

One three point loss is not season ending.

The rest of the conference will beat itself up over the next few weeks.

I agree.

I also believe that a lot of it was self inflicted. Was a sloppy game for TN.

That being said State I don’t think there is anyone in the SEC that wants to play MSU right now
