I think the last few weeks, we kind of knew he could play. I personally wasn’t sure if it was the level of competition, or if he was that good. I have always been a Ty fan boy, but had my doubts after FSU. Not anymore, the kid has guts and can play. Watching him climb the pocket and rip intermediate passes across the middle was a breath of fresh air. He was on time on 3rd down and got the ball out to move the chains at an insanely high rate. Most importantly he is tough as nails when he needs to be. He is a baller, and we are lucky he stuck around.

He looks like a top 3 QB in college football at this point. I haven't seen one play that I'd trade him for. Hope he continues balling out. But you're only as good as your last game as they say.

Mind-boggling how he sat behind Milroe.

Simpson was always the guy.

He wasn't the problem even then. He was one of the few players who showed competitive character in that game.

Ty’s the little brother that comes along when his dad randomly decides not to wrap one weekend 10 years after the first kid.

His stats are up there with anybody and nobody has played the road schedule we have

Kudos to the O line for giving him time. Still, I agree, he hangs in there without fear and doesn’t give up on the play.

He played well against FSU. WR and TE drops/falls were the problem in that game.

OL had the best pass protection game I’ve seen from them in some time.

I don’t think UGA is “UGA” from a pressure standpoint this year but they deserve a ton of credit for last night.

We don’t have that first half without them.

Not to mention he's a real leader. Not a fake leader like Bryce Young and Jalen Milroe.

He doesn't stand in the tunnel and performatively high five everyone.

He might be the best team leader at QB that we've seen since AJ McCarron. He's fiery, and has a real connection with the guys. He can actually get them fired up.

Was great to see him knock off the dawgs. O line really showed up and gave him time.

Bryce Young was a soft spoken guy with a squeaky voice. He never fired anyone up. He never won a natty. He missed the playoffs.
He started the gay standing in the tunnel and giving everyone a five thing that Milroe copied.

I for one am glad we have a QB that we can actually win a natty with again.

This. OL gave him plenty of time. I remember the one play where the pocket collapsed and a defender grabbed his throwing arm. Ty calmly just stepped into the pocket and fired a pass down field unfazed.

Man how this kid has grown.

He also started out with a literal neo-Nazi username but they just changed it and let him stay. Someone explain that shite to me.
