Through three games this season, Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green leads the country in yards of total offense (1,173) and yards of total offense per game (391).
Green's 307 rushing yards and 102.3 rushing yards per game are the most of any QB nationally.
He is also the first Razorbacks QB to record 300 passing yards and 100 rushing yards in a game.
With a Sunbelt level defense

...with two of those three games being against Bama A&M and Arkansas State.
He's good, but claiming he is the best is a stretch.

Not claiming he’s the best but he only played 3 quarters of the OOC games and his numbers were on par against ole miss so he is doing very good in Petrino’s offense.

He sure as shite has a better claim than most of the SEC QBs that have been called the best.

That doesn't look like Diego Pavia to me.

Considering his line didn't block worth a crap for him in the FSU game, for him to still throw for 254 yards and 2 td's without any int's, really isn't a bad game. The kid can throw the football very well and when he has time is very accurate. So far this season he hasn't really had a "bad" game.

Ty Simpson looks the whole fricking part of a QB stud.
Kid is accurate as frick and makes good decisions. I really like him.

Everyone from his coaches to the player himself said he played poorly and missed many open WRs against FSU.
Only here with the weird Alabama fans will you find someone who will attempt to defend that game.
He has bounced back, he has figured it out. He is reading faster, processing defenses quicker and making very accurate timely passes downfield.
That shows he has developed and made the leap from week 1 to 3. Don't take that away from him

Now, if you could pick any of the SEC QB's to run your offense, who would you really take at this point?
I'd take Mateer.

No one is saying he had a heisman game, but it wasn't "bad". Either you didn't watch the game or have memory loss, but six of his incompletions were due to out right dropped passes. If those wr's would have caught those balls (like they were supposed to) he would have had a 67% completion % for that game rather than 53 %. Ryan Williams single handedly killed the guys completion % and he wasn't the only one who dropped balls that hit him right in the hands. Did he miss open receivers? Yes, but he also had six out right dropped passes that could have extended drives and gotten him into a flow. Again, if you're going to critique the guy, let's put some context and objectivity to it. And I didn't even mention the swinging gate our left tackle was that had Simpson bailing the pocket every other play.

That is if he can make it through the season.
He was seen limping and he often doesn't slide like he should.

I actually won’t argue with you, Green is a stud. Several QB’s are right there also and could make a case for them too.
