BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Sept. 9, 2025)-----The Southeastern Conference on Tuesday announced conference baseball schedules for all 16 SEC schools for the 2026 season.

The 2026 SEC baseball season will be comprised of four weeks of non-conference play followed by 10 weeks of conference series. The first weekend of SEC series is March 13-15, and the regular season concludes May 14-16. The schedule is subject to change for television, including the move of some conference series to begin on Thursdays.

The SEC Tournament is scheduled for May 19-24 at the Hoover Met.

SEC teams will again play a three-game series against two permanent opponents and eight rotating opponents for a total of 30 conference games.

A record 13 SEC teams earned NCAA Tournament bids in 2025 with a record-tying eight SEC teams selected as NCAA Regional hosts. LSU won the SEC’s sixth consecutive national title and 17th overall.

Just as a reminder the permanent opponents for baseball. Glad we got Florida. That's been an awesome series. Still wild to see Arkansas and Missouri as permanent baseball rivals.

Ummm…that Arkansas schedule seems odd with no LSU, aTm, Tennessee, or Texas.

Why can’t we get that favorable of a football schedule?

Is dumb. Schedule balance through more rotating teams is the way to go

So LSU is paired with A&M and State in baseball. I'm sure the football permanents will be different though.

I don't know why we have to be joined at the hip with Georgia in every sport. The only rivalry we have with them is in football. LSU and Vandy are the big rivals in baseball and Kentucky and Tennessee in basketball.

I guess it may become a rivalry though if their new coach works out. They looked pretty good last season.

We got a solid schedule this next season. Vandy, Tenn, Auburn, and Aggies all on the road.

Perfect recipe for another overhyped Arkansas team headed into the postseason. Avoid the top dogs in the SEC during the regular season and then fold when June rolls around

Nah.. They should be able to make it work.

I personally like a 5/5 schedule in baseball, but with a 2/8 you'll play each non-perm team 8x over a 13 year period. (4 home + 4 road)

Based on the 2025/2026 schedule, Texas will have this schedule in 2027.

@ Oklahoma
vs Texas A&M

+ these 4 at Home
Arkansas
Kentucky
Tennessee or South Carolina or Vanderbilt
Tennessee or South Carolina or Vanderbilt

+ these 4 on the Road
LSU
Georgia
Florida
Ole Miss or Alabama

Whichever 2 aren't picked roll onto the 2028 schedule.. rinse and repeat..

* assuming they set it up to play every team at least once every 2 years..

I'm glad to see Texas on the schedule. It's been an interesting series, when we've played, over the decades .... including some CWS games.
