What if FSU is just that improved?

What if Castellanos and Gus were just hot yesterday? Goofy Gus is a hot/cold play caller and the qb is the same way. Both we’re on fire and could have peaked at just the right time. I’m just trying to find some ray of sunlight here.
Someone pointed out that we are 5-5 in the last ten games, so that is not encouraging. All that being said, I think we beat UGA, but lose other games that Alabama should not. Another frustrating 9-4 type season. I didn’t sign up to be a fan of an aTm type of program.

FSU has 3-4 losses coming on their Charmin soft ACC schedule. Mark it down. That team is better, but Miami, Clemson and Florida will beat them and they probably lose another game to a lesser team.

FSU is improved but Alabama by all prognostication and roster talent metrics ought to have won that game by 1 or 2 TDs. That was a massive underperformance by Alabama. They didn't look prepared to be challenged physically despite supposedly hard-hitting Fall camp.

FSU is improved, people who are saying they are dogmeat are wrong, they played the transfer portal during the offseason very well to fill some needs.
They should not have done that to us yesterday.

FSU is clearly improved- but your opponent should not dictate your effort in the slightest, and there was a lot of bad effort yesterday. That’s an us problem

Not only that but they shite talked and then dog walked our guys for 3 1/2 quarters while we looked lethargic and didn't care. That's inexcusable.

FSU also had a mad on for us, and DeBoer should have realized for that and addressed it.
Honestly ... one would think they did but it makes one wonder ... did our coaches watch any film of Malzahn? Not FSU but Malzahn?

I’m sure they are better. But we got punked and that’s unacceptable

Idk how anybody can watch that game and say FSU is for sure going to lose to anybody.
I’m sure they’ll drop a few, but they’ll finish closer to 10-2 than 2-10

I've been waiting on someone to post this
My dude, we just got our dicks smashed by a team that will likely lose 5 games this year at the least...

Even if FSU has improved, that’s no excuse for the entire Alabama roster to play like they didn’t want to be there.
That was the most gutless, soulless performance from an Alabama team I’ve seen since 2003.

We would have lost to USF yesterday

I’m sure they did. Sometimes Gus’ offense just works though, especially when he’s got guys perfectly tailored for his system.
I seriously think FSU will be a serious contender in the ACC this year. The team I saw in the field yesterday was very good, and the novelty of the HUNH will mean big numbers on that side of the ball.

I didn't come away thinking FSU is a great team. Most defenses are going to bottle them up

How much they have improved is of no consequence. Just a few years ago Bama would have won regardless or at least put u a real fight.

It’s apparent that FSU is vastly improved. Castellanos is a great fit for Gus’ offense. That being said, it’s no excuse to get manhandled. It’s probably a little of both. Bama isn’t as good as advertised and FSU is better than expected. At the end of the day, it’s easy to see that Bama is trending down.

Saw Bama players jogging during plays. What if a number of players took their NIL money and bet on Florida State?

-FSU is definitely improved; just how much remains to be seen
-This may have been a South Carolina in 2010 game where the other team just had everything working on that particular day
-We played lackadaisical and soft and weren’t mentally ready to play
All of these things May be true at the same time. The last one is pretty much unforgivable after last season.

They're a 10-win team at least with their schedule.
They only play Clemson, Miami, and Florida the rest of the year. Surely, theyll win 1/3 of those.
little perspective .. didnt we say that about Vandy when they beat us

Even if they improved to say 8-4 or 9-3, you just lost by 14 to a mediocre ACC school
