I doubt Ohio St makes it in. They lost too much talent and will probably lose to Texas, Michigan and Penn St.
I also doubt Ole Miss could make it in over LSU. They lose a tooooon of talent.

The Bammers are dreaming again. They'll get that Realiquest bowl bid though.

Surprised Kanell couldn’t find a way to leave the SEC out entirely

The sec will get a 4th team in before usc gets in. Texas and LSU would be in before half the teams on this list.

Tennessee can lose two games and still make it again. Looking at our schedule, that's very doable. We get UGA and Oklahoma in Neyland this year. Bama and UF on the road.

If the ACC gets a second team in, it's not going to be Louisville. Miami and SMU are both better than they are. Also, Kansas State is already 0-1 in the Big 12. And I'd be REALLY surprised if USC made the playoff.
All in all, about the quality of a set of predictions I would expect from Danny Kanell.

Penn State is being way overhyped. I don't get it..

Ole Miss might could get in there at 9-3 with the schedule they have. It will probably depend if harder schedule SEC teams go 9-3 also.

They got the formula
QB
Defense
Running back
The only question is Head Coach but he got them to playoff last year

How old is this? Didn't KSU lose to ISU?

I could see Texas beating Ohio State week 1 and then losing to Ohio State in playoff.
Ohio State will be a different team by the end of the year.
Doubt they lose to Penn State & Michigan.
Texas lucked out getting them in week 1 with an entirely new roster and Frosh qb

SOS Rank per ESPN
[9] Georgia
[12] Alabama
[16] Ohio State
[19] Ole Miss
[22] Oregon
[24] USC
[28] Penn State
[39] Clemson
[43] Notre Dame
[45] Louisville
[62] Kansas State
[81] Boise State
Just looking at pre-season SOS, half of this list is garbage.

OM, KSU and USCw will not be on that list by November. OM will be fighting for a winning record. This looks like it could be Alabama's year with the experience that they return. ND will also be a force with who they return.

Kansas State? The team that is already 0-1?

Posting shite from Kanell in a positive light should be ban worthy.
