They passed up Missouri years ago. The SEC sucks that bad a conference USA team is better than a mid-pack SEC team.

I like Mo State and hope they do well unless they’re playing Mizzou. It’s all Missouri.

I remember when Arkansas State went d1 it was like WTH are they thinking, do they just want to be a whipping boy in football?
They had won championships where they were but I guess they thought they could make more money or get on tv or something.
I wish them luck and being d1 maybe they can get better players or whatever.

Don’t know if there’s a more poverty Athletic Department in the country than Mizzou. They suck at everything.

State played UMASS in Gillette Stadium some years back and my wife & I had a blast going to the game there. The Patriots have a first class facility. Easily the best stadium I have ever attended a game in.
So I can’t see that State degraded ourselves by playing this particular game. It was a great trip to Maine and Boston and we had a lot of fun.
All that said , if Missouri played at Amherst, then I 100% agree with your statement.

Got my undergrad at LSU and master’s at Missouri St
Enjoyed my time there and proud to be an alum
