Why in the hell did it have be LSU?

This was exactly how most of us expected the game to go. Lots of Ks, low scoring. LSU was able to take advantage of miscues by Root in the 2nd inning for the only crooked number inning of the game. I expect them to play 2 more times this week.

Violets are blue, roses are red, the Hogs are in Omaha and they shite the bed.

It was a hell of a game. Two great pitching performance with one inning being the difference. Good game Hogs!

It is hard to seed properly, but I thought several seeds didn't make sense due to late season performance, and LSU vs the ARK TEN winner was always garbage. Great game tonight.

Gaeckle for Arkansas had LSU batters number tonight. Had he started the game, Arkansas probably wins. I thought DVH was crazy going to him in the 2nd but that was the right move. Thankfully Kade was on his game tonight. Only gave up 3 hits and 1 run. Lots of hits into double play to end the inning in critical times. Damn shame one of those teams has to be 0-1 to start the CWS.

Arky is top notch. It is just one game.....Arky will be back. LSU will be waiting.

Thank God they burned Gaeckle! He has been our kryptonite for sure

It ain’t over till you lose 2. Good hard fought game tonight.

Roses are red, violets are blue. It’s not over until you lose two.

They need to re-seed at Omaha. Those were the two best teams left playing each other in the first round in one bracket. And if Ole Miss hadn’t shite the bed we would be in the same bracket as Arky and LSU.

Georgia shite the bed too. Should have been y’all or Georgia over Murray…
Guess there’s technically a scenario where the whole Omaha field could have been sec.
Vandy/Bama
MSST
Oklahoma
FLA/Auburn
Arky/Tenn
LSU/Kentucky
UGA/ole Miss
Texas
Just so happens we get lsu arky first round. Sucks

Texas, UGA, Ole Miss, Arkansas, LSU, and Tennessee were all on the same side. Vandy and Auburn were the only top 16 seeds on the opposite side. The committee did not want another all SEC final

Not just LSU... An LSU that is peaking at exactly the right time.

What if the Hogs go 2 and Q?

The rest of the field to Arkansas

They still scored 1 run.

It makes sense. Texas both deserved a high seed and predictably wasn't going to make Omaha. Auburn had an inflated RPI and predictably lost. It's hard to seed the tournament As an LSU fan, I'm happy with the outcome of days 1 and 2.
