Sick of groomsmen gifts like dopp gifts with your initials on it? Check out these dudes who got future tickets on the U.S. Open...

Golf Digest - If you’ve been in a wedding party recently, you know how much of a financial commitment it ends up being. Renting a suit or tux, traveling to a bachelor/bachelorette party, wedding gifts, lodging for a hotel … you might be in the hole for a couple grand to celebrate your good friend.

One groom is paying it forward with a fantastic gift to his groomsmen with a U.S. Open theme to allow one of his buddies to recoup most of his money. And we’re all for it.

A user on X, @WKFNate, shared the story about the groom giving out $25 outright betting tickets for the U.S. Open with his wedding falling on U.S. Open week. (I’d say poor timing and planning, but my wedding was during the 2019 Open Championship, so I can’t judge.)

“A Future Ticket On The U.S. Open” means something different than what you were trying to describe. Good communication and you just don’t get along well.
