Who inspires his team to play harder than their opponents no matter the circumstances? I mean, as an SEC fan, this is awesome right?

You simps need to get off of their jocks and realize that you are about to get worked for the next 25 years. Focking awful.

It is awesome and all thanks to our biggest rival Georgia for taking Mike White off our hands.

Basically what Kirby has done for your football team. Kirby is way smarter than folks give him credit for, and Golden is much tougher than he looks.

It's very strange to me how obssessed UF fans have been wiht UGA over the last 12 hours. I keep seeing the above sentiment repeated but it doesn't make a lick of sense.

-UF was unhappy with white so whether he left on his own or got canned, he wasn't going to be coaching UF for another season
-UGA was in shambles and white has drastically improved us every season
-Obviously UF has upgraded big time as well

Truly the move worked out swimmingly for both schools. yet UF fans, even minutes after winning a title, keep trying to use "you got mike white from us lmao" as some kind of insult. It's just weird. It'd be like us making fun of miami football fans for getting Richt. It just makes zero sense.

As an aside, I know the Gators play excellent defense, but does Kelvin Sampson have any set plays that actually work? It is like he tells them to hustle and play good defense, but just go play streetball on offense.

We would be doing the exact same thing. Let them enjoy it. Gator folks are generally good people, rivalry aside.

Who thinks Kirby isn't smart? He is the only Saban disciple to come close to recreating the machine, and he was the mastermind of some of the best defenses in CFB history.

Houston was about to win it. Both teams are great at what they do. I think Houston is a bit obnoxious on defense and happy to see Florida win it. The game was great in first half and the second half was meh until the end.

I have to agree. I think it's just to "get one over" on uga since football currently isn't going so well. White was probably getting fired. He went uga before it happened and it's worked out for y'all and your expectations of your program and it's obviously worked out for us.

I'm pretty sure that after 2021 we weren't talking shite to miami fans for them hiring Richt

About Mike White, there was some," we took your coach," talk when he went to Georgia, although most Gator fans were glad he left. If you are satisfied with a winning record most years and getting in the tournament every couple years or so, he is your man. I am glad to see that wasn't good enough at UF and that the decision to part ways, paid off. He did beat the Gators once this season, so there is hope for Georgia fans, I guess.

Mark Titus is a barstool guy who has a popular CBB podcast. Said he walked past the UF locker room Saturday at Halftime vs Auburn and legitimately could not repeat what was coming out of Todd Goldens mouth lol

The fact White/UGA basketball is getting its balls busted for what White has done is some absolute cognitive dissonance.

He replaced a guy who had one winning season in 4 tries, no postseason appearances, a .385 winning percentage, and a .208 SEC winning percentage while at UGA.

Florida certainly hit 100 buzzer beaters by hiring Golden. He outcoached a really good coach last night to win the title.

That defense was on par with Houston's last night. Houston's last 3 possessions all ended in turnovers. The Gators caused those turnovers. That's coaching. Their defense is so improved over last year.

The Gators had 9 turnovers in the first half to just 1 for Houston. It totally turned around in the 2nd half, when the Gators only had 4 turnovers to 8 for Houston. Adjustments were made.

And his play calling out of timeouts was outstanding. It seemed they scored just about every time when they had the ball out of a timeout.

Golden is only 39 and has a title. Look out below.

Happy for them, UF was due for some good luck. Unlike in football, all ships truly are lifted in the conference when programs are competing and winning titles.
