Warning: Not including Texas and OU cause neither have an SEC titles yet

1. Kentucky (obvious)
2. Arkansas (been consistent since the 1970s)
3. Florida (outside of Billy not much but could change soon)
4. LSU (surprisingly good history)
5. Bama (3rd winningest SEC program plus a final four)
6. Tennessee (3rd most ncaa apearances and SEC titles)
7. Missouri (good past history but not much at the moment)
8. Auburn (great recent history but barely a program pre 2017)
9. Hail State (up and down but always tough opponent)

PS: dont forget that basketball was played pre 2017 auburn fans

Can’t argue that. We’ve been pretty dismal since joining the SEC thanks to some poor hires.

Shouldn't Bama be ahead of LSU (all-time).

No. LSU has 4 Final Four appearances.

You won’t find many Auburn fans that would dispute the fact that we had a pretty dismal history (with a few blips of success with Sonny and Cliff) prior to Bruce.

It just makes us appreciate Bruce more.

I would be honored to be considered the 8th best basketball in program history.

I know Arkansas has a lot more Basketball history than Florida, but if you compared both since Arkansas joined the SEC would they still be ahead? I feel that would be an interesting comparison.

Pretty much. Ironic that a Tennessee fan would point this out since they were pretty much nothing pre-Bruce as well.

No way in hell. LSU has much better history in the tournament than bama. It's not even close.

As an LSU alum I wouldn’t fight anyone putting Alabama ahead of LSU, but I’d never trade our history of star power and NBA talent.

Now that the ncaa can’t have their witch hunt on LSU after literally both times we’ve had great coaches (Dale and Pear) I could see LSU making a run when McMahon is fired

Agree. We have no history except for an AWESOME 97 season where we were a one seed and had Chris Porter doing the most unbelievable dunks, and then fricking Ohio State has to upset us in the Sweet 16.

Only school with better basketball history than LSU is Kentucky. Period.

They don't. Like 5 more NCAAT wins but we have the extra title.

No.

Florida with the Noah-Horford team alone puts it second all time in my view.

Not too bad considering we would be 16th w/o Bruce.

Not many programs ahead of UF in that span, nationally. Donovan took us to a level no one really thought possible.
