Who would you include besides the Top 3 on this chart?

Mizzou has brought a lot of prestige to our conference in all athletics, and academics. Perhaps it's time to throw some of the dead weight out of our conference. We are certainly contributing to making the SEC a better conference, but some of the older members just seem to be failing.

How fricking horrible was your OOC slate that you’ve only played 5 games outside your arena?

Might be best to follow the lead of our own team and just play the game and let the results speak for themselves.....

The only historically elite program in the SEC is Kentucky.

Other schools such as Florida and Arkansas had short runs of eliteness.

Missouri has never been elite, no Final Fours.

big difference between *program* & *team in a given season* ....

Elite programs - at any given point - aren't just 7 league games removed from an 0-18 conference season

Bama has the second most wins in the SEC before adding new teams. I think they are also behind UK with the most SEC titles.

No one, and I mean no one, gives a flying frick about Missouri. And rightfully so.

Yes, but as a Bama fan I'll be the first to say we've never been elite in basketball.

CONSISTENT, yes. Good, plenty of times, but never an actual ELITE stretch.

Oats might be building that now, but we've got accomplish more than one Final Four for that to be true.

That has never been something that the SEC has historically cared about, with the exception of Kentucky. Most know that Kentucky had Rupp coaching basketball and Coach Bryant coaching their football team at the same time and how both were treated after their successful seasons. That's all you need to know about priority in the state. Weird people there.

Frankly, college basketball just doesn't move the needle like football and never will, so I get it. But basketball is fun when you do it right. It's just NOT SEC football.
