Seems to enjoy the games, shows up to the big ones in the SEC at least. Maybe our guy can issue an executive order to change things back to what they were before the courts started NIL and the portal. Food for thought… ??

I’ve voted for Trump all 3 times but he’s an ultimate front runner. Loved Pats/Belichek/Brady despite being a NY, loves winning Yankees, goes to Bama games.
He has bigger issues to fix than CFB

Please don’t let him fix college football. If he really wants to earn his status he needs to 86 the refs from the NFL. Actually if he could get rid of current NCAA refs I’d be all for it

Apparently they’re busy right now getting rid of the polio vaccine. Maybe they’ll get to destroying football next.

We’ve got way bigger issues than CFB. If I watch or don’t watch it’s of no consequence

Based on the last few years, our government doesn’t understand how our government works.

Other than the military academies he has zero power to do this. But yes he could influence Congress to act with reform contingent on federal funding, plus the interstate commerce implications of recruiting, player eligibility, etc.

Oddly enough, federal politicians doing it is a much better alternative than judges and legislators in 50 different states.
Politicians giving the pro sports anti-trust immunity is why those leagues can actually have the structure they benefit from today.

Did you know colleges are government entities? Everything about them is ultimately up to the decisions of politicians.

Trump appointed several people on this court.
It is hard to imagine this supreme court voting unanimously on any issue. They were unanimous in the Alston verdict. It was Kavanaugh, appointed by Trump, who wrote the scathing judgment pretty much guaranteeing that any attempt to limit player earnings, would lose in court.
geaux2019, it is hard to imagine anyone taking a more retarded position on this issue than your original post, congratulations.
