China is the world's largest producer of crawfish

Some packs of Chinese crawfish sold in US supermarkets are labeled with Cajun Louisiana names.

Taiwan is Texas’seventh-largest trading partner. Taiwan is already the fourth-largest source country for capital investment created by FDI in Texas.

For new investment, Taiwan's Foxconn, the world's largest contract electronics maker and a major supplier to Apple (AAPL.O), opens new tab and Nvidia (NVDA.O), opens new tab in Harris County, Texas.

Taiwanese contract laptop makers Compal, opens new tab and Inventec opens new tab - which also makes AI servers - may expand into the Texas

You probably knew that this kind of investment deals were not done in one day. Most of the deals were already announced by Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba previously. Same as the TSMC $100 billion investment.

re: Flu shots

Flu vaccines likely don't work as well in people over age 65. Because of weakened immune systems (often due to aging).

Less effective =/= Don’t work

Flu vaccination is especially important for people 65 years and older because they are at higher risk of developing serious flu complications.

Education Rankings is not by number of people

You can compare the number of scholars from US vs China, and then compare the total publications and citations as the list above

Evaluation of university usually based on public available data. Two of the most important factors are publication and citations. However, keep in mind that more than half of China citations are self-citations. Russia's publications have very low citation per document.

The richest 1 % of the Russian population received more than one fifth of the national income, while enjoying favourable tax rates. Wealth inequality has also increased over the past two decades, with nearly half of the total wealth held by only 1 % of the population.

The number of homelessness in Russia is 5 million, approximately 3.5 percent of Russia’s population. Out of Russia’s 144.5 million population, 13.3% live below the poverty line.
