If Alabama does make the playoffs, it'll be thanks to LSU

Fun little tidbit:
Everyone knows (or at least I hope so) by now that Alabama, Ole Miss, and South Carolina have identical records (9-3).
Everyone also knows that Alabama and Ole Miss own the H2H vs South Carolina.
The amusing part is that it would be irrelevant if South Carolina wins the game against LSU, as they would be 10-2 and own the better record regardless of H2H.
So, *IF* Alabama does make the playoffs, it will be thanks to LSU's 3 point win over South Carolina.
The same goes for Ole Miss.
I'm not saying we will make the playoffs.
I'm not even saying we deserve to be in the playoffs.
I'm simply saying that if Alabama makes the playoffs, we'll be sure to send a king cake to LSU as a thank you.

If it’s a joy to you that LSU is a necessity for you to make it to the playoffs, then congrats.

LSU fan here:
Bama has the best win any SEC team has, over UGA. Bama also has wins over SCAR and MIZZOU (both 9-3) and then LSU 8-4.
SCAR has wins over 9-3 Clemson OOC + 9-3 MIZZOU its Losses are to 9-3 Bama, 9-3 Ole Miss and 8-4 LSU
Ole Miss has wins vs UGA as well and 9-3 SCAR but its loss to 1-7 in SEC and 4-8 UK is the worst loss.
If you take head to head, SCAR is out, if you are fair about it and then Bama and Ole Miss, Bama does have better resume.
So if the Playoff committee thinks a 9-3 SEC should get in, I do think Bama gets the slide edge. IF the Committee wants to avoid the controversy, then they just go with 10-2 Miami as the 2nd ACC bid with th winner of Clemson and SMU getting the auto bid.
