re: Explanation for “Piped-In Music”
Posted by Kool Kaliper on 8/11/26 at 8:29 am to Tigerbait8
Every stadium plays piped music. Our fans are traditionalists who aren't interested in change. If you asked them what their idea of a perfect atmosphere would be, they would suggest playing Garth Brooks and "Louisiana Saturday Night" on the loudspeakers, along with a band performing "Neck."

LSU hasn't produced many great quarterbacks. We have only had a few good QBs, so who is this person comparing Sammy to?
re: Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night

Tiger Stadium is overrated. The experience is marred by older, intoxicated fans who scream “STTDB” in front of kids, which I found uncomfortable. While I understand that the student section is just trying to have fun, I believe the older fans need to mature a bit. Additionally, many fans leave at halftime, the restrooms are outdated, and there's no Wi-Fi. After Texas A&M took over our stadium, we shouldn’t still be ranked among the Top 10 loudest and craziest stadiums. It's time to face the truth: Tiger Stadium is overrated, and someone has to say it. Teams no longer fear coming into Tiger Stadium. Lastly, the fans that cry about piped music, you don't have a problem when they are playing Garth Brooks and Louisiana Saturday Night. You only have a problem when it's rap music.
re: Will Baker’s Defense finally be able to stop a mobile QB?
Posted by Kool Kaliper on 8/10/26 at 8:06 am to tenacious
The verdict is still uncertain regarding Baker; his defense has not performed well since he joined LSU. They have struggled to stop both mobile quarterbacks and stationary ones. Hopefully, he has worked on these issues. I am tired of the numerous excuses that fans have made for him.

re: Baltimore game

Be cautious; the last time I attended a game where the Saints played against Baltimore, the police had to stand beside us, the Saints fans. It was the first time in history that I found myself hoping the Saints would lose because I was afraid of having to fight a mob of their fans. As I was walking out, their fans were spewing comments about Hurricane Katrina and many other derogatory things.

We have a Chicken Little fanbase who rush to the board and criticize the kids. You all are right; you could never be a coach or recruiter. I was a Navy recruiter, which is one of the hardest jobs in the Navy. I had to adapt to whatever my recruits needed me to be on any given day until I got them on that plane. Working with 17- and 18-year-olds, especially with social media involved, can be challenging. You all need to relax!
re: Remember opening day with Les Miles?
Posted by Kool Kaliper on 8/6/26 at 8:02 am to thumperpait
The one thing we could not question about a Les Miles team was their toughness, physicality, and ability to win games despite lacking a legitimate passing game.

Guys, Brewster can't flip, he took the Red Raiders stock and gifts. You should focus your attention on Royal.
