Not even a troll post. Just curious to know the feeling. From 2008 to 2023 you experienced a dominance that we may never see again. You have the greatest coach of all time dominating the sport in every way. You knew that every saturday you are going to dominate. Yes some years didnt work out and yes other teams beat you but the expectation was always to win. Especially in game they were supposed to win (Vandy, Oklahoma, etc.)

All of the sudden.... Saban unexpectedly retires and you find yourself just like everyone else. You turn the tv on and see the team that was dominate for so long all of the sudden isn't. Yes they beat the breaks off of LSU which has been the normal since 2011, but losing to an average Vanderbilt team and a average Oklahoma team would have NEVER happened under Saban.

Before you all get upset and talk about LSU i know where we are and yes yall are ahead of us right now. Might not be the case in the next few years.....

TL,DR: The decline for Bama is finally here.... how does it feel???

We got to see the greatest run in history. tDynasty is absolutely over, last night nailed that coffin closed for sure.

We’re just going to (hopefully) be an upper third SEC team. Really hope we can move on from the Milroe era, it has been incredibly frustrating to watch the highs and lows week to week.

Just need to beat AU and move on to basketball season.

The reality of post-Saban football has set in. The dust still hasn't even settled.

We got a new staff that seems lost, players who seem uninterested, and the new playoff, new conference, NIL stuff is a gigantic shite storm.

I've been an Alabama fan since Bear.

I ain't even worried, and it's kind of funny/nice watching all these new fish melt over tiny shite.

You hear about that Ole Miss student that jumped off a bridge? Well, as it turns out, he was a Bama fan

I lived through the 90s, this ain't shite. Look, we have a QB who's a bad fit for the system, but was important for keeping the roster together during the transition. We have a ton of entitled, selfish and undisciplined but highly talented players. This started under Saban and it's primarily upper class men who are fricking up. I just want to see what we look like with a QB who can actually run deboer's system. Milroe can't make a read, he picks what he's gonna do before the snap and just does it, and he's regressing

I was at the game last night and had a blast.

I have said for awhile once Saban retired we had some arse beatings coming our way and last night was one of them. The law of averages catches up to you.

Age also makes a difference. Coming up in the Dubose and Shula years helps. The fanbase is beyond spoiled and will make it toxic if CDB has a similar year next season.

How did it feel to lose to this Bama team with a first year coach at home 42-13 with your coach in his third year?

Probably about as Sh*tty as it feels to be us right now (LSU fans)
And I am an LSU fan.
I dont get why we as LSU fans can chuckle at someone else's decline when at this point our starting at our own. Our own team is starting at a 7-5 season (8-4 at best), just lost the #1 recruit in the nation to a 12m dollar NIL deal and very few of us are confident in the head coach. Some of our fans were literally wearing bags on their heads this weekend.

LSU has a pretty solid history itself. Having fielded arguably the best team in college football history not long ago in 2019.
Now we are unranked, hanging onto a recruiting class .. Just came of a 3 game losing streak (including arguably the most embarrassing loss in Tiger Stadium in the last quarter century)
I guess its a free country but I know exactly how Bama fans feel. Except worse because Bama hammered LSU, at Home at Night on National TV.

Downvote away....

Long time, true Bama fans will hate it but not worry so much. The new ones that jumped on the Bama bandwagon because Saban, are lost and melting. Some will probably quit watching football again.

It's more of a live it up time for long time rival fans that lived through the whole Saban era and Bama fans trash talking.

3 losses isn't surprising; the three we lost is, however. This year, we've lost the games we should've lost last year but didn't. Not judging anything long term until we have a functional offense

You gotta keep things in perspective, and I do.
Every bama fan is PO’d about the on-field production, and rightfully so. We are strongly perturbed at the overall lackadaisical performance in games like last night. With all that was on the line, how do you explain that product?
However, between the bass, deer, golf, family and the holidays, it’s not important enough to cramp my style.
