This is why coaching is so much harder now.

What exactly is the problem here? Saying frick and goddamn a lot to high school kids who also say frick and goddamn a lot?

Telling a bunch of high school boys they’re getting “fricked in the arse” is perfectly fine? He’s not a good coach.

Maybe that one part was over the line but the rest? At worst he should have just had to issue an apology. But being forced to resign? Nah.

My main point was kids would rather secretly record the coach than get chewed out for playing like shite.

It's trashy. But common in coaching.

In the context shown in the video? I don't have a huge problem with it. He should probably tone it down some, but I certainly don't think the guy should have gotten the fired/resign ultimatum over this. Just tell him to stop using frick twice in every sentence. He's not screaming, he's not being aggressive, he's not being racist, he's not being violent, he's not singling anyone out to demean. There's no abuse or mistreatment of anyone in this video. It's just a halftime rant with a lot of colorful language.

My basketball coach used to throw a basketball at our faces of we missed a shot in practice and that was just 20 years ago. Kids these days wouldn't survive.

Hey bud, sounds like you had an abusive coach. That is not normal stuff.

I coached mostly baseball but also some football for a few years. Admittedly, I was a hard arse. I was old school.
No way I could coach today. There’s no amount of money that could persuade me.

Our head football coach spanked a player on national TV back in 2010.

My high school football coach my junior year would’ve been on the front page of CNN nowadays.

I watched Nick Saban make two high school football coaches cry at a camp in 2009 because they were teaching a drill wrong. Hell all my coaches growing up fought in WW2. They would make this coach sound like a choir boy.

Do that in a parking lot at a grocery store and the cops are called.

If a coach made other coaches cry they shouldn't be coaches.

I know y'all Aggies aren't used to someone using it in a negative context. But that's not really that bad.
