Of the 4 SEC additions this century A&M is really the only good one

Hate ‘em all you want, that’s not the question… A&M fits, and it always seemed like it should’ve happened long before that. Also looking forward to the LSU/A&M rivalry picking up some steam this weekend, and Elko may be a problem. They’re still gay as shite but they belong. However:
Texas - I’m not trolling for once when I say, what an embarrassment and not just their football team. They came in with this bizarre “everyone wants to be us” attitude (we don’t, no one has given a frick about Texas in 20 years) and their fans aren’t just annoying on message boards, they throw shite on the field against their first legit SEC opponent to get a call reversed, and still lost. Go back to the big 12. We will not miss you.
OU - I feel bad because their fans are pretty nice but jeez man. What a weird addition. I have no words really.
Missouri - I can honestly say Missouri could win 1000 straight games and still no one would give a frick about them

I agree pretty much. Houston might as well be the South though it’s gotten really international the past 20-30 years. I wouldn’t fight for them to stay though.
Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri need to find somewhere they belong. It’s certainly not in Dixie.

A fricking LSU fan putting knee pads on for the Aggies is not something I had on my bingo card

They might be weird and slightly gay, but they’re our slightly gay weirdos.

Dude you a dumbass. Like Mizzou or not they have been to the Sec championship and represented.

Not a fan of the yell leaders. Love everything else about A&M

It’s not about competitiveness. If Michigan joined the SEC, I’m sure they could make the SECCG. Doesn’t mean they belong.

Oklahoma is the lovable but slow step kid that has to be a part of the Texas hot wife addition.

Typical LSU fan. Dumb as a box of rocks. And proud of it.

Sorry, baw. I just can’t accept this. A&M needs to go back, too.

A&M's been interested in the SEC for decades, I think since the late 70's. We always wanted to leave the SWC and felt like we fit in more with y'all than in the Big XII (We had no history with teams like ISU, KSU, Kansas or Nebraska, we share a lot of culture with Lsy and similar schools). When we jumped to the Big XII, we never really thought it would be a permanent thing, we weren't really interested in keeping the league together (texas felt the same way). When we joined the SEC, it felt like home, similar schools with similar culture.
also, frick Lsu

if talking culture, A&M and OU are both natural fits. no offense to mizzou and texas, well texas can take offense, but they dont belong

You knew your place in 2003 and 2019. The second game LSU could have named the score. 2000 is a long way off isn’t it :)

A&M and the SEC were talking transfer at least 20 years before it happened.
A&M culture has always been SEC type.
Its long history of rivalry with LSU bears that out. We were thrilled when our admin FINALLY made the move after rejecting the SEC once again in 2010. There was practically a revolt of the masses when they did that.
