Was it talent, coaching, bad luck - all of the above?

Root cause: Hugh sucks

Adverse effects: Players playing bad.

Bad coaching, starting a g5 qb in a P5 game.

It was pretty obviously the turnovers. Fumbles fall directly on coaches. Interceptions are much less black and white.

When it’s a continuous problem, I’m leaning heavily to coaching.

100% coaching. Freeze says "I know I need to get that fixed quick", mother f'er you should have fixed that in the off season. The continuous lack of coaching effort with our staff seems ridiculous. How have the not improved......AT ALL! Honest question, have you guys seen any improvement anywhere on the field since week one? It honestly seems to be regressing every week.

Ofc you are. If you, Freeze, and a loaded gun are in a room alone together, only one person and an empty gun are leaving the room. You've made that clear. You can't take Larry the cable guy to the Olympics and expect him to come home with a medal. Coaching can only go so far.

Yes. Everywhere beside qb, cam Coleman, and the running backs actually.

Turnovers number 1, continuously rushing three on third down number 1a

Continuously is an exaggeration. But it happens way too often I do agree. Second half we were blitzing second down then 3 man rushing on 3rd. I'd love to hear dj answer why bc at the end of the day I will concede that he knows more about football than me.

That's my biggest gripe! Durkin is not good! Our tackling is not good, our secondary seems lost a lot, and we KEEP PLAYING THE SAME SCHEME ON 3RD DOWN, KNOWING OUR GUYS CAN'T COVER IF THE QB IS GIVEN ANY EXTRA TIME!

As someone who just played HS football, an armchair coach like all the rest of you, I get why we run a 3-man rush on 3rd and long. BUT, when me, you, grandma, and the illegal alien who just started watching American football can see that doesn't work, we ALL question why we keep doing it! "Live by the blitz, die by the blitz" should be the call going forward, because we all know our pass defense just isn't up to the task!

They ran 80 plays and didn’t get 400 yards of offense. They barely climbed into the 20’s scoring on 4 turnovers.

The defense needs to improve in some areas but they have played good enough for us to be undefeated

Both lines suck. Our DBs suck. Our RBs suck. I can't even blame the QBs. Our best player is the PSU transfer. Would any of our starters start on the top 12 SEC teams? I think Durkin is a good coach. He adjust. No clue on O. We have zero weapons.

I was at the game and in a nutshell QB play, turnovers, and horrible refs all was a major factor.

Oh my gosh. Is that really your retort?

I’m sure Bama would have been killing it with same recruits and no Saban. Good grief.

The head coach is the damn CEO. It begins and ends there. Quit making excuses for this scumbag. I know we all hope Auburn will win, but open your eyes.

We lost because we turned the ball over more times than I can keep up with (was it 5 or 6?). On top of that, we had a bone head personal foul to extend a drive that led to a TD, and Kieonte Scott getting lost on 3rd and forever allowing a guy to get behind him.

Without those two plays and Alston not fumbling inside the 5, this game is very different. Not defending some of the garbage, but no team in America is winning shite with the amount of turnovers Auburn has had this year.
