S Tier:

UGA
Texas

Self-explanatory.

A Tier:

Alabama
Auburn
Ole Miss
Tennessee

All of these teams could move up to S but as of right now I feel like they still have something to prove.

B Tier:

Oklahoma
Arkansas
Missouri
Vandy

Missouri is most likely to move up to A out of this group. I feel like Arkansas will probably drop at some point. Vandy doesn't really belong here but I can't not reward them for beating an ACC title contender.

C Tier:

Mississippi State
Kentucky

I honestly didn't watch either of these games but based on history this feels about right. Still, they won, so they don't go any lower than this.

C-Minus Tier:

LSU
Texas A&M

LSU and A&M didn't look terrible but they didn't look good either. Both of these teams likely staring 4-5 losses in the face.

D Tier:

South Carolina

What the frick. They escape the bottom because even though they sucked, they did manage to eke out a come-from-behind win. Against Old Dominion.

F-Minus-Minus-Minus Tier:

Florida

Yeesh.

Not saying UGA isn’t S tier, but if who they played is any part of your calculus I think we will find out Clemson isn’t much if at all better than Virginia Tech by the end of the season

Having us in A tier right now feels like an overreaction

As an Auburn guy we’re probably a tier or two too high

We looked sharp and much improved but played arguably the weakest opponent in the conference. If we handle Cal with relative ease i think we’d belong

Yeah, I could see dropping Auburn to B, just like I could see moving Missouri up to A. We will see how things play out going forward but I'll let it stand for now.

Auburn may have played the weakest team of anyone, so wouldn't put them that high. Sure the offense looked good, but I got a few bad vibes from the defense.

Cal this week should give us more to go on.

It's weird to rank them this way considering 3 out of the 4 "A tier" teams played FCS schools, while Arkansas did just as well against an FCS school as they did and Oklahoma blew out an FBS school.

How is Auburn's 70 point win over Alabama A&M more impressive than Arkansas' 70 point win over Arkansas Pine-Bluff?

Not sure how good/bad eastern Kentucky is, but last season Kentucky only beat them by 11 points with a 28-17 win.

I think Ole Miss should be rated higher.

Relatively, but Cal sucks and is one of the weakest programs in the P5. Wont know much about AU until they play Oklahoma.

I mean that’s just not true. They’re not good or anything but weakest in the P5 is quite an exaggeration.

You also don’t have to play a good team to get a feel for how good your team will be.

Cal will give us a much better feel than Alabama A&M

UGA is the only team we’re sure of.

Going 0-3 in the other ‘marquise’ matchups… not so impressive.

What a ludicrous statement. We beat them 31-14 in the 2022 Orange Bowl with Joe Milton at QB. We're improved all over the field since then. You don't really believe that, do you? If so, please keep betting against us.

UGA, Bama, ole Miss, UT, Tx, OU are the top teams on paper.

However... Tx, ok, UT need to play AC team with a pulse. We know what we're getting with Bama, UGA, Ole Miss.
