As an Alabama fan, I can only hope Nick Saban is able to match the great efforts of Jimmy Lake.

Didn't DeBoer bring Michael Penix Jr. with him to Washington?

Jimmy Lake

Must be the next CFB GOAT, no?

Imagine being fired with such a keen eye for talent and watching a real coach take that talent to a CFP NCG.

2023 Washington had a lot of seniors and some super seniors, that's always a recipe for success, that was pretty evident in how many close games they won.

Per 247 Composite-

Petersen
2014: #38
2015: #26
2016: #29
2017: #22
2018: #16
2019: #15

Lake
2020: #16
2021: #30

Deboer
2022: #95
2023: #26
2024: #46 (Deboer left after ESD but prior to NSD)

That's cool. Kinda goes to show how incredible it's gonna be given he has something to recruit to now considering he currently has the 7th ranked recruiting class with only 10 recruits.

Reminds me of when Saban went from Michigan State to LSU.
Kalen and Alabama is the right combination like Saban and LSU was.

So coach D took coach Lake's talent to the National Championship game and Coach Kelly took all of Coach O's talent to a 10-3 season. Is that what you're saying?

Typical LSU fan post without any logical prethought.

You know you make yourself look like a dumbass?

If Jimmy Lake was responsible for the talent pool at UW for DeBoer.

Then he will be more successful as

SABAN >>>>>> LAKE

Do LSU fans understand what this mathmatical symbol stands for? ">"?????

It means "GREATER THAN"

So using logic, you are only supporting why Deboer could be more successful.

Great post.....moronic one that is.

The irony of this being posted by an LSU fan.

Even if your suspicions are correct, I'll gladly take a Saban hand-me-down national title just like Les Miles did at LSU.

Which colleges won the 2024 NFL Draft?

The formula is achingly simple: the first pick is worth 250 points, the second is worth 249, and on and on it goes, all the way to one.

Team Draft Picks Selection Points
1. Washington. 10. 1,641
2. Texas. 11. 1,567
3. Michigan. 13. 1,551
4. Alabama. 10. 1,540
5. Georgia. 8. 1,436
6. Florida State. 10. 1,356
7. Oregon. 7. 1,146
8. LSU. 6. 1,122
