I have been enamored with him since the NC game last year.
As long as he doesnt get hurt he is a taller Cooper Kupp level of player. Hes got all the traits you want in a wr.

***depending on his QB situation
Doesn’t matter how good you are if you get drafted by the panthers

Bengals could really use an upgrade at TE. No way he'll be on the board at 18 though

He's an NFL caliber WR but I don't know about all pro. I love him to death. I'd let him have his way with any of my female relatives.

He's definitely a gym rat. Real student of the game if I've ever seen one. You can definitely tell that (insert some family member) was a coach and it's really rubbed off on him. Always first one into the facilities and last one to leave.
There, I think I've hit all the ESPN buzz phrases they'll use for him on draft night.

For anyone that doesn't know Ladd's story-
He grew up in North Georgia close to the Tennessee border and actually grew up a Tennessee fan.
Tennessee never offered him. In fact, two weeks before his signing day, he had zero P5 offers.
Then one day UGA dropped a scholarship offer on him. He committed instantly. Then Vanderbilt took notice and offered him. And I think a couple other P5's started to offer.
He had accepted that he'd end up at UT-Chattanooga.
After he got and accepted his offer to UGA, he and his HS coaches started getting blown up by all these FCS schools recruiting him, saying you'll never see the field at UGA, you'll just be a scout team meat grinder guy.
Fast Forward- he's got two NC rings and is one of the top receivers in the upcoming draft.

Ladd is definitely talented football player and a winner.

Him in a McVay offense would be pretty damn lethal. McVay can scheme these shifty WRs like no one else.

In terms of actual style of play and body type, Antonio Brown is the best comp for Ladd

I’ve yet to hear him be compared to a great black receiver. It’s hilarious.
He would be a killer for the Chiefs though.

Grew up a Tennessee fan. All they had to do was offer

Cooper Kupp is like 4 inches taller. Fail

He was Georgias 4th leading receiver this year. He ranked #242 in receiving yards. He had less than 500 yds. That doesn’t scream all pro.

A taller Cooper Kupp?
Cooper Kupp is 6’2 208. He’s bigger than McConkey

I’d compare his capabilities to Wes Welker.
Shorter, white, solid hands, great routes, deceptive acceleration and a team player.
If he gets a good QB, he could get to Welker levels IMO

NFL is a bit different than college.
I know a former All-American from the SEC. When he was drafted he was sure he was going to be a star in the NFL.
His words: "I was big, strong, fast, and mean. Then I got to the NFL, and everybody was big, strong, fast, and mean."
Today that man coaches High School football.
