but the fact is, we could loose half our roster and still have as much talent as anyone in this conference not named Georgia.

Yes, you will still have a lot of talent. And, Deboer has shown he can win with average recruiting. But, its the week in, week out part you're forgetting about. And, 9-3 isn't going to make anyone at Alabama happy.

I have been a Bama fan since Coach Bryant and this is a fricking disaster. We’ve lost an entire recruiting class.

See how we are now talking about 3 years from now and last week we were talking about not missing a beat?

This is bad!

He's been successful at this level with ONE quarterback.

He's been successful at a way less competitive D1 conference with ONE QB and at least one first round WR, both of whom he inherited.

Top 3 coach in 3 years? He won't be coaching, he will be run off after 2 years

The only difference is now players can leave without penalty and they can be paid (legally).

Oh. Is that all?

So we should actually thank lsu for beating lsu so much?

Your take is shite. Bama just hired a coach from Washington. What makes you so sure Bama wouldn’t have hired Saban from Michigan State?

Had more success with that quarterback than Kelly did with his Heisman winning quarterback.
By this metric, Deboer>>>>Kelly

Saban was what 7-6 his first year? We didn’t can him. I remember during 2008, I was expecting about 9 wins. So it’s clear that you don’t know what you’re talking about

Compare the state of the Alabama program the day Saban was hired compared to the state of the program the day before he retired.

7-6 (so a 6-6 regular season and a shite tier bowl win) isn't going to cut it.

8-4 is the minimum expectation for him in Yrar 1.

It would take a stupid Gump to not understand what Saban was taking over and what this cat is taking over are two COMPLETELY DIFFERNT ANIMALS on every level.

You're gonna fall hard, my man.

But all BAMA's players are in the portal, and all the recruits are decommitting?
