Some of you complain about everything, even things that haven’t happened yet, and it’s gets on their nerves I guess.

And they do it multiple times, in multiple threads. It's not the differing opinion, it's the complete jackass manner they go about expressing it.

I was unrelentingly negative for weeks during this past off season about the coordinator position hires. I was extremely upset about something I love and needed a place to vent, and this was that place

This is the problem. No one should be so upset about this sport, that for weeks they are mad about an assistant coaching position.

I love the sport too and love to come to this board to get updates about what’s going on, and optimism about what good things could be happening on the future.

I think the people who are more often than not upset and angry posting about something are quite frankly weird and need to get a grip. And it does ruin the board for people who prefer to enjoy the sport from a more optimistic stand point.

Or it took Smith 10 games due to Nick's seniority system.

I actually saw that hire on reddit, and everyone was laughing with a million :who memes:

Im not local anymore, I live in Colorado so Im not up to speed on smaller school in-state coaches so I was also in the "who" camp admittedly.

I truly came here to ask why it was a good hire.

Ive done some research since, and listened to some in the know that say its a great hire so... great, lets roll.

I could not possibly care less about what ammo my questions may provide the 12 year olds over on the rant however.

You’re kind of a bitch but on a positive note that’s note as bad as it use to be. People accept it now.

Agreed. Not my first choice but he has some positive attributes for sure.

Hire Lane Kiffin.
You mean the Lane Kiffin who is 2-19 vs ranked teams at UT, USC and OM? Or would you rather have Kalen DeBoer who is 12-2 vs ranked teams at Fresno (2-0) and Wash (10-2)? Fresno was 4-8 the year before he came, Wash also was 4-8 the year before DeBoer arrived. DeBoer is 7-0 vs Riley (2-0), Lanning 3-0) and Sarkisian (2-0).

Sounds like you are just a name-dropper who wants to impress his buddies and others.

He may end up being good but it’s another shite hire because we desperately need recruiters.
I don't know you, so this could be premature, but from what posting history I've observed you appear to be a stubborn moron.

What is your purpose in pursuing your foolish line of posting? Seeking attention, to discourage the fan base, etc., what is your rationale?

Do y’all realize that Ryan Williams was the youngest guy on the field in just about every game he played this season not to mention he was the youngest one in the ALL-STAR game and he OUTPLAYED every single one of them. Do y’all really follow recruiting? Do y’all actually watch the routes he runs? That kid reminds me a bit of Smitty in the way that anything thrown in his vicinity he’s gonna catch and he has speed to burn.

I don’t think a single person complained about him when he was hired. The players transferring and lack of hires of guys with SEC experience have some of us concerned. On the bright side the new DC should hopefully be able to recruit the South Alabama pipeline well.

Nah, i’m a pragmatist. Honestly, what good does it do to help the team to rant on a message board constantly? Do you think you are impacting officials in the athletic department to make changes? Well youre not, and if you think you are then you are delusional.

No, the reason you complain all the time on this board is to try and help make yourself feel better about changes that you dont like and cant control. Kinda makes you the real bitch here.

But the board isn’t just here for you and those that think like you. I could just as easily say that overly optimistic people are clueless and out of touch and need to wake up to reality. That’s the danger we all are facing, if you can’t handle the least little dissent without asking for it to be silenced and only surround yourself with people that think the way you do the capacity for thinking ceases. It’s a fairly dangerous way to think, or not think.

Some but not like I used to. Like I said I haven’t watch any highlights. If he ends up here I’ll assume he’s Smitty but if he ends up at the barn I’ll assume he’s going to be similar to most small WR.
