For years we have heard people on here bitching about how complex Saban's defense was. They say, we have athletes, just let them play fast.
If any of those who complained about the complexity of Saban are now complaining about the 4-2-5 and the new DC...you realy need to shut up. You are getting what you have been asking for. Less complexity in the system. Let the athletes play and play fast.
The down side, a heavy run team (UGA / Michigan style) will shove it down our throats. A high end OC can get your athletes running one way when the ball is going the other. A high end OC can twist the secondary to create holes if they have a QB that can hit the holes. The Athletes up front will have to get on their horses and go after the QB to keep that in check.

I loved Kiffin, because he wouldn't have been intimidated by the job, and I think he realizes what he could achieve here. He has potential, but can't get out of his own way (and I'm not talking about his love life). I hoped he would mature as time went by, and he has a little. But he still makes multiple dumbarse decisions every few games, going for it on 4th and 2 from his own 20, or something goofy like that. Plus, he hired Pete Golding, how's that for good judgement? Kiffin might have worked, but he's far from safe.
