The second half went a lot like the 2021 national championshp game. One team could run the ball successfully and the other couldn't. The more phyiscal team won the game, which is the way it should go, like the 2021 title game.

Bama thought they had an o-line that could move anyone and one of these QBs would be able to make an offense pay if they put too many in the box to stop it.
And down the stretch one Proctor figured it out and Roberts was inserted we absolutely changed into a very good power rush team that was elite on short yardage when you knew we were gonna run. We were not very explosive (mainly because neither of our main, older backs are very explosive), which limited our YPA numbers.
Non-Sack Rushing
Tennessee : 39 carries, 167 yards (4.3 YPA)
LSU : 44 rushes, 300 yards (6.8)
Kentucky : 38 rushes, 156 yards (4.1)
Auburn : 42 rushes, 200 yards (4.8)
Georgia : 37 rushes, 154 yards (4.2)

I do think their Oline has improved, but I watched murderball up close and personal in the SECCG in 2012. This ain't it.
2012 was one of the greatest offensive lines in SEC history. Nobody in their right mind expected to get that sort of dominance (so like, half the fanbase ).

I will say this. Do it again, but take out unscripted rushing plays by Milroe. Only fair way to do it if you are gonna take his sack yardage away. Having the defense on their heels to defend the pass and calling what he did against the LSU defense murder ball is disingenuous. As I said, you know this.
If anything, what the coaching staff did is impressive because they changed from what they had been doing to something else. It didn't work and morphed it into something completely different based on taking a flawed player and using what he does best to make the offense effective. Of course, it's the D that really held this thing together.

I don't disagree - having a QB who can run is certainly a different animal.
Designed Runs (per PFF)
Tennessee : 37 for 155 (4.2)
LSU : 37 for 207 (5.6)
Kentucky : 35 for 126 (3.6)
Auburn : 28 for 106 (3.8)
Georgia : 31 for 150 (4.8)

The big key, will be how it will play in the playoffs and next season. Will Milroe be happy in his new role as mobile QB, or will he revert to his insistence he is a pocket passer? Somebody has gotten in his head and convinced him that he needs to package himself as a pocket passer to catch the eye of the NFL. With next year (likely) being his last year he might be more insistent on staying in the pocket. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
That would be a weird take, considering he's already moving up in the same mold as Jalen Hurts (cannon for an arm, legs that will punish teams that fail to contain). I get the need to showcase the passing ability, but one would think he's shown enough of an arm that teams would at least be willing to acknowledge he's got the tools that cannot be "taught" - athletic ability - and then can learn more as he comes up, so maybe a 3rd or 4th round pick.
He'd have to come back and do amazing next year to really be viewed as a first round draft choice.

They got beat up at the line of scrimmage
But that wasn’t possible becauseUGa fans think “Bama’s S&C stunts their player development” lol

And the only one that stands out here is Georgia from what I can see. And that fits with what I saw Saturday. For about halfway through the first to the end of the half and the last half of the fourth, we couldn't stop you. And you had a lot of success, especially in the second quarter running up the middle with someone other than Milroe.
The Oline played well. Not trying to tell you they didn't. But even on a handoff to the RB, the defense still has to be a little slower to react to it. But they definitely were moving our interior around in the second quarter. That last drive to kill the game was mostly Milroe. With the exception of Georgia scoring on it's first drive, from what had to happen for Alabama to win the game, you couldn't have drawn it up more perfectly.

Going back to this style of offense with a runner like Milroe at QB and that gigantic O line was a great personnel decision for Saban. Took a while but they steadily improved every game.

You played better along the LOS than we did.
I mean, if you look at the stats, hard to say that either Oline was killing it along the LOS.
Close games you are usually gonna lose if you lose the turnover battle and you don't get points when they are available. We did both of those. Team that plays the best in the bigger moments usually wins in a close game. Bama did Saturday night.
Kirby does not coach aggressively against his old boss and it's cost him several times, including Saturday. I don't know if they felt they couldn't block you on passing downs with Mims out, but it sure looked different once he hit the bench. But he's the only tackle we have talent wise that stacks up with your ends.

They were saving that Jalen run… hadnt been a designed qb run for a while… set it up nicely.

the offense this year hasn't resembled murderball imo

One could throw a curveball and say some universities need to find a term for allowing sexual improprieties, including their head coach. For those of less knowledge, that means improper behavior.

Murder ball is your argument for being laughed at all year.
You barely had a total of 300 yards and GA outgained you the for the whole game.
If not for a missed FG and a fumble on the 11 yard line, you lose
Take your gift from Bobo and be happy because it likely won't happen again

For sure - Alabama beating Georgia is a very rare event.

Actually for Auburn it falls in the “prison love” category.

pretty shocking how much push we were getting against the UGA defensive line.
Maybe for you, but not for us. The DL has been the weak spot on the team all season. It’s serviceable, nowhere near the behemoths of the last two years.

At the end, Bama imposed their will on UGA. Game was close, but y’all owned the LOS most of it.
This is the way fan should respond, and it's funny most of the Georgia fans are like this... even with our back and forth banter. It is refreshing.
How unlike the fans of some programs.

You ran for 114 years. One of the most underwhelming SEC championships I’ve witnessed in years. At least in some of the blowouts that were not close you got to watch a great team flex their superiority.
Instead we got to watch a pretty good but not great Georgia team lose to a pretty good but not even close to great Bama team. Mostly due to Georgia’s retarded offensive play calling. Neither defense is great but neither team’s offense was Great either. After watching both these programs have some monster teams lately, these two teams suck compared to some of the teams we’ve seen the last few years.
