I have the good guys winning 31-24.

This is on topic because of the playoff implications and the winner likely facing an SEC team.

Nice attempt, but any time you have to immediately qualify your thread with an excuse it's probably a sign you shouldn't have posted it

I'd say the OP is relevant, just because the media narrative is spinning out of control to exclude the SEC entirely. So, regardless of who wins Michigan vs Ohio State ? Chances are even that both make it, even though 'Bama beating Georgia would mean neither make it.

I'd say winner of Michigan and Ohio State is a lock. Washington is a lock. Texas is a lock if they win this weekend. ACC is now screwed with Florida State getting ready to lose. I could see the committee going with Oregon over one loss SEC teams.

Not saying it's right, I think the two best teams in football - now - are Georgia and Alabama. But the media has a true hard on to exclude the SEC. They're tired of the same ol' conference winning it all every year. Especially when that conference is the worst of flyover country, as they see it.

I think OSU is the better team with better players.
I would like to see Ohio St. win and I'm pretty sure the NCAA would like to see OSU will due to the nasty undercurrent associated with the Michigan cheating scandal.
If Georgia wins the SECCG, then we are in but if we lose to Bama then there's a chance there won't be an SEC team in the playoffs due to Bama's loss to Texas in the regular season.
If Ohio St. wins out, they are in undefeated.
If Washington wins out, they are in undefeated.
If FSU wins out, they are in undefeated.
If Texas winds out then the last spot would be between 1 loss Texas and 1 loss Alabama.
The committee will have a tough choice but I believe that Bama's win over #1 Georgia would give them the nod even with the loss to Texas.

Michigan will win. Michigan has the psychological edge and better coaching. Not to mention they're playing in Ann Arbor.

I want OSU to win, but am worried that Michigan might pull it out. I hope not, because Harbaugh is a turd.

What many don't realize is Maryland can do things offensively that Ohio State can't do. Maryland has a better QB and WR unit than Ohio State. Harrison will get his but aside from him Michigan doesn't have much to worry about with Ohio State's offense.
