Kelly is the one that set the expectations for the playoffs this year with his comments. After seeing this OL for 8 games, its hard to imagine that anyone who watched practices should have agreed with Kelly’s assessment. But the sports media just parroted what Kelly said and ran with it.

I don’t disagree with some of Landry’s points about NIL and coaches’ salaries, but the obvious vindictiveness of his actions is a bad look for LSU and the state. If you don’’t think this hurt LSU, you’re mistaken. The quality level of the coaches still interested in LSU just took a serious hit. Landry just did Penn St. and Florida a huge favor.

As a Louisiana native who has lived outside of the state for the last 43 years, y’all are kidding yourself if you think what Landry did isn’t going to hurt the program. Tell me what established coach is going to want to deal with a governor several miles from campus who has clearly demonstrated that he is going to get in the middle of everything at LSU. Winning in the SEC is hard enough without having to deal with crap like we saw the last couple of days.

They are usually nice people as previously pointed out, but any religion that allowed Lori Daybell to think she was evolving into some kind of mini deity is not practicing Christianity.

What happened - our OL is awful and the OL coach has no idea what he is doing. The OC is terrible. The QB has been hurt all year. Kelly is caustic and no one likes him. The defense is falling apart and looked worse last night that any point so far. The team looks like a dumpster fire.

I see no benefit in keeping Kelly. Next year will be worse. Once the team bails on him when the portal opens up, it will be a total rebuild with at the very least a new offensive staff. Keeping Kelly will get ugly next year.

I am not watching the same game as some of you. I see the OL being 80% of the problem. They cannot block anyone. They couldn’t even block La Tech. And let’s not forget the D and STs - You cannot win when you give up 49. Period.

Baker. Chavis shut down Johnny Football two years in a row, plus the Oregon QB. Baker has no hope of ever doing that.
