Even the national guys are taking notice of how we basically overperformed and out schemed Georgia.

I think it might be the worst from this point in time. This team will get better every game. Just looked and we only have one game left against an SEC defense in the Top 5, so they have to get better on offense. I hope.

I think that the team did better than expected. Rebuilding is never easy and there are bound to be some hiccups along the way.

HF watched film against UGA/UAB. From what I’ve read DEs were running themselves way out of position and losing contain. Our QBs & RB seemed to be riding the mesh point to suck them in.

Yea I wonder what Kirby said to Freeze, at mid field after the game. I suspect it was something complimentary. There was no simple handshake.

Talent-wise, I agree, but DAMN I can't help feeling optimistic about the future.

I noticed that during the game too. I usually don't mind shotgun plays on short yardage, but if you're going to do it, it has to be quick. Hit the hole fast, or use an extra blocker and run your QB. I've seen it work just as much as I've seen it fail.
But for the love of God, stop riding the mesh for a 2 or 3 count in short yardage.

Throwing is not the problem......Learning to run pass routes properly and understanding how body block the DB from position is an issue within that one room.

Nobody knows if this is going to be his worst team or not. That is just a gas pulled out of someone's arse.
