Absolutely brutal. Hard not to feel cursed.
Connor was definitely QB1. Max can ball but it’s a different feel with Connor. He was decisive and attacked quickly.

Originally thought ankle sprain after first X-Rays were negative. Did a closer scan of the foot, found a fracture on a weight bearing bone.
3-4 month recovery. Maybe back for a bowl game (If Max can win 3 more games)

Toughest of news for A&M football. Per everything I've heard since yesterday and from sources very close to situation, QB Conner Weigman's foot injury is, in fact, a season-ender for the emerging SEC star. Weight-bearing bone and roughly a 3.5 month recovery.

I actually like Max a lot more than most, the issues at LSU in 2021 had almost nothing to do with him.

He threw for 27 TDs vs 6 INTs his soph year at LSU. I thought he did pretty well under the circumstances. He looks like he may have gotten stronger too.
