1. MSU - Arnett is not the guy.
2. Alabama - Saban is done, retirement encouraged by Bama this offseason.
3. Ole Miss - Kiffin due for a move.
4. A&M - Even Aggies won’t take failure forever.
5. Arkansas - If Hogs stumble, fans get restless.
6. Missouri - look good now, collapse would fall on Drinkwitz.
7. Vanderbilt - forgot who the coach even is.
8. Florida - one big win last week and Napier now seems safe.
9. Kentucky - Stoops seems like a UK lifer.
10. South Carolina - maybe a step back, but Beamer has been good.
11. Auburn - Freeze won’t be a one and done.
12. Tenner - Heupel got UT back on the map, and don’t see him leaving.
13. LSU - Bama comes calling, but Kelly tells it no thanks.
14. Georgia - Smart is on top.
2. Alabama - Saban is done, retirement encouraged by Bama this offseason.
3. Ole Miss - Kiffin due for a move.
4. A&M - Even Aggies won’t take failure forever.

Nah, Saban isn't retiring but the bad news for Bama is he'll keep Rees around for five years....
Good news for our conference foes: you'll be able to rest your defensive starters against us for the five years, so long as Rees is here.

LOL.
Kelly is Miles 2.0 but without a national title. He’ll have you in the Top 15 but he’s not going to be special.

You misspelled Freeze
Kelly played for a NC.

Well the last 3 coaches to coach at LSU won national championships, 2 of them weren’t considered near the coaches Kelly is.

You're gonna be a sad boi soon

If Arnett gets to 6 wins he’s not getting fired after one year. Which is not asking for him to do much at all and would still not be a good year. Just probably keeps him out of getting the one and done treatment.
That said, if you can’t win a measly 2 conference games in the SEC this year with a veteran team, sorry, can’t help you, congrats on your new gig as the defensive coordinator at Texas Tech.

I'm not going to be upset if we play in two national title games in the next 6 years.

1. MSU - Arnett is not the guy
quote:Not a funding chance. Bama isn't LSU. They won't have 3 consecutive coaches, 2 of which were 90 IQs, that can win a championship. The state of Alabama doesn't have that level of talent like Louisiana.
2. Alabama - Saban is done, retirement encouraged by Bama this offseason

We start like 20 seniors including a four year starter at QB. We’ve definitely had more talented teams than this one, but there’s plenty there for this team to be good. We did lose a first round corner and our best pass rusher, so I can see why the defense might take a step back. But virtually the entire offense from last year returned intact, outside of a couple of WR’s but WR has not been the issue this year.
9 win team last year and returned a good bit of production. I can see why there might be some regression from Leach to a first year coach, but it should not be a major difference unless the guy is in over his head.

I don't agree with much of this at all. Think in terms of the fan bases and particularly when there are high expectations that are unmet. Which ones melt down the quickest?
Tennessee is a real possibility if they continue to underwhelm.
Arkansas as well since this is year four.
MSU isn't firing a guy after one year. Even Arkansas gave the previous guy a second year and he looked way more in over his head than Arnett does.
Saban? Get real.
Mizzou, I seriously doubt there will be a collapse sufficient since the schedule suddenly looks much easier than it did in the offseason.
Ole Miss and A&M, no way. They both have a good chance to make it to Atlanta this year.

Miles never won a NC until he coached at LSU. Hell, Nick Saban never won a NC until he coached at LSU.
The last three HC's at LSU won NC's and two of them were morons.

With miracle circumstances needed.
Les backing in due to other teams losing late and Coach O getting a transfer QB because Tenn fans have huge vaginas

Possibly the coolest seat in the SEC, when you pass Bear Bryant at UK, unless you get caught with a dead hooker or a live boy, you are safe.

Les also played for one where the opponent backed in

Need to move Jimbo down about 6 notches. There are 90 million reasons Jimbo is going nowhere.
