re: Longstreet / Clark '26

Clark has visited LSU, Michigan, and James Madison.

If Clark goes to Michigan he’s sitting behind Underwood.

He can compete for the starting job at LSU.

He will get more money, publicity, and better opportunity, among development at LSU than he will at James Madison.

You sound like the retarded one hoss.

Both could be considered development types, but Longstreet was a huge recruit. He’s already got a year of CFB in him. I’m not counting out Kiffin, Weis Jr. and company to turn Longstreet into a big player Year 1 of Lane’s tenure.

Schedule is brutal, but LSU just needs 10 wins. They have room for 2 mistakes.
Rolling out the red carpet for Longstreet.

LSU QB Husan Longstreet. Let’s kick off the Heisman Campaign.

LSU will compete for playoffs next year. I think when the dust settles, LSU will field a top 10 team next year. I’m not sure they will be able to win it all.

They likely will be in a position to win it all by year 2.

Longstreet/Clark combo is what I’ve been wanting for the last 48 hours.

Longstreet and Clark are both ideal Lane Kiffin QB’s. Both have very good athleticism, and great arms. Both are a little raw as players, but then again that’s why we have Kiffin and Weis Jr. I think this scenario is great for LSU. Both have multiple years left. Longstreet 4, and Clark 3. LSU is playing the long game here. Both guys will push each other to be better too. I’m ready for the Longstreet Clark QB battle. I’d also feel great about the backup next year whoever it is.

Longstreet/Clark all the way for me.
He’s a damn good QB, and that’s an impressive stat, but he also only throws the ball 20-25 times a game. IU has 3 running backs they use in a big way. All about controlling the game at the LOS with their RB’s, and efficient passing, maximizing their offensive game plan.
Leavitt and Clark 1-2 punch at QB.

Focus on the offensive line.

Profit.
Brian Kelly would be boozing at Super Club right about now.

Kiffin is crossing state lines to chase down our next QB!

Lane for President!
Longstreet and Clark QB battle all offseason… inject it into my veins.

We’re running a psyop against UT. Kiffin is the ultimate spy.
My QB2! LSU starter in 2027 and 2028.
All this smoke surrounding Leavitt? He’d be the guy to have this much excitement about.
I think Indiana has one of the best teams of all time. Wouldn’t be shocked if they beat Oregon by 20+.

I’m doubting the National Title will be kept within 2 possessions.
I’d like to reiterate the point of, had Chambliss committed to LSU a year ago, nobody would have been happy or excited. There would have been only a 1 page thread about him, and it would have been filled with people asking why LSU is taking a Ferris State QB.

Nuss threw 12 picks in his 4th year and going into his 5th we crowned him Heisman and 1st round pick.

At least Nuss had 30 passing TD’s. Lagway just barely managed a 1:1 TD interception ratio.

I realize Daniels did that too his year prior to LSU, but at least Daniels Freshman year was big time. Lagway hasn’t shown anything in 2 years now.
Hell no. You want to take Lagway and that price tag? He will cost 3 million plus. I’d rather a guy like Clark for 1/3 of that price tag.

Clark and Longstreet all the way.

Lane knows he’s allowed to recruit D1 players at LSU right? We’re not destitute like Ole Miss

LSU needs depth. LSU has already landed plenty of top flight guys, and will continue to do so. We need a complete roster overhaul.

Anyways, he had 25 tackles, 6 PD, 1 sack, 1 FF, across 11 games. 6’3 with 2 years left to play. I like this pickup.

re: Holstein

I’d rather a combination of Landon Clark and Longstreet.

Leavitt is still available too.

Is Holstein even in the portal?
I mean Williams entered the portal for like a day, and that would have cost 12 million. Onto the next.

LSU offered Sorsby an arm and a leg. Tech upped their offer, and Sorsby’s GF goes to Tech.

Chambliss waiver has been denied by the NCAA.

Leavitt in theory, is still available.

LSU is better off without Lagway and Raiola for their price tag.

LSU can still land a combo of Clark, and Longstreet and be set.

I think some of this narrative needs to be put to rest.
I don’t really know much about the 2 lineman from yesterday, but Landon Clark is a stud. I’m hoping he jumps on board with someone like Longstreet and they duke it out all offseason for the job.

I’m not worried about o-line. Kiffin isn’t assembling these offensive weapons, to just have a shite o-line where we can’t use anybody. We’ll be alright.
Sam Leavitt
Landon Clark
Hudson Longstreet
Deuce Knight

Still significant options out there.

If I’m Lane I’m taking Clark, and Knight or Leavitt.
