Still significant options out there.

If I’m Lane I’m taking Clark, and Knight or Leavitt.
Let’s him sign that wild contract, looks out for only Fisch and Washington, then announces he’s dropping Williams as a client. What a whirlwind.
Took me a couple minutes to write. Yeah I’m telling you pansies to relax. Y’all should take the advice.
Demond hasn’t made anybody look dumb, besides Washington. All we know about Williams is his transfer portal mess, and he entered with a no contact tag. Some reporters said look for LSU. Nobody even knows if Williams has been on LSU campus. So no, Williams has not made LSU look dumb at all.

O-line is coming. Patience is your friend. I promise you LSU isn’t going to roll out a bunch of RB’s and play them on the o-line.
Nah, everything I said has truth behind it. If you can’t read a couple of thought out paragraphs, you’re gonna struggle big time.

Y’all need to chill out

So everybody goes into pandemonium, because Pete Thamel reports Williams is leaning towards returning to Washington?

We already know the national media is against Lane and LSU. Is it possible, Thamel is reporting this, because he wants it to happen, more so than having any real concrete evidence behind it?

Lane is a QB guru. Look what he did with Dart. Look what he did with Corral. Look what he did with a frickin D-3 transfer QB.

LSU has given Kiffin everything he possibly could want and has asked for. LSU is doing their due diligence.

Williams ship hasn’t sailed. Honestly the Leavitt ship hasn’t either. What if we get left at the altar, and give Leavitt an offer he can’t refuse, if Lane truly believes we need a guy like him to compete? Lane is not going to roll out an LSU QB year 1, who he knows can’t compete.

Perfect world, we land a high profile QB, Leavitt or Williams, and land the Elon transfer Clark. Clark continues to progress, and LSU has Clark as the starter after 2026.

Y’all need to relax. Lane and LSU will get it done. This is not the Brian Kelly era. This is not even the O era, where we hoped shite stuck, and lucked out a few times. Nor is this the Miles era, where LSU is going to trot out Brandon Harris or Anthony Jennings. Take a deep breath, and trust the process. Whoever LSU gets we’re in a good spot.

Last note. Had LSU landed Chambliss last year I know 90% of y’all would have had some shite to say about it, and none of us would have been excited. Look who is playing in a minute, and leading his team to a semi-final.

Point is, Lane knows better than any of us. Trust.

Look what he did with Chambliss? I promise you had Chambliss committed to LSU a year ago, he would have had a 10 reply, 1 page thread about him, and he’s led his team to the CFP semi-final. Have a little trust before dumb projection.
I trust Lane to do whatever he sees fit at QB. I like this Clark guy, however, he was a Freshman at Elon. Sounds like the perfect backup. Bridge the gap for a year, and Clark has 2-3 years left to be the starter.

Also, are we sure Williams ship is completely over with? All we have is Pete Thamel reporting something. We all know the national media is already against Lane and LSU.

Knight can play, just young.

If we get Raiola, lord help us.
Clark likley will be the backup. I can promise you LSU didn’t give Kiffin everything in the Kingdom to miss out on Leavitt, Sorsby, and Williams.

Yeah Kiffin would probably turn Clark into a stud, as he did with Chambliss, but I highly doubt Clark is LSU’s starter.
I think he’s the most talented guy LSU had on their line. Just young, and got injured. Have to remember he was the #1 IOL and a top 15 overall prospect at Guard.

People forgetting about Tyler Miller to who was very valued out of HS.
Yeah I don’t like Miami, but I despise Ole Miss. Rooting for Hurricanes all the way.

We need the process to end all the way. LSU needs to get all their coaches back. We also need to get the transfer portal guys from Ole Miss’s team, and continue to raise LSU’s roster. I don’t want to wait another 12 days for all this to get sorted out.

All an Ole Miss win does is keep the narrative out there of “Lane Kiffin bad, Ole Miss didn’t need Kiffin”

Which we all know is absolutely not true.

Time to end the shite show, and fully complete LSU. Geaux Miami.
Williams with Kiffin? We kick off the Heisman campaign, and the road to a National Title.
Lane is not a snake. He’s just playing the game that was put in front of him. He’s trying to win the game that was created and molded by the powers that be.

There is a free agency now. Kiffin wants Williams? Kiffin gonna go after Williams. Washington has no leg to stand on, this won’t go well for them. Sucks for them, great for us.
Leavitt on campus for 2 days. Legit spotted at an LSU basketball game as late as tonight with Kiffin, Weeks and company. In middle of game, a nuke drops about Williams wanting out of Washington, entering portal again with a no contact tag, and insiders saying watch for LSU. This board starts going into a frenzy hoping for Williams. 20 minutes ago a dark SUV pulls into the football ops, with a massive crowd to greet said person. Oh and Washington is threatening to sue Williams.

This is insane, and entertaining. Like a soap opera for CFB, but I’ll allow the soap opera if it benefits LSU.

Sorsby just got 5 million. Leavitt will probably get the same. You want a guy who will contend for the Heisman, and put LSU in the title hunt year 1? You pay Williams 6 million. Not any of our money anyways. This is the market weather we agree or not.
Where do they court Williams at? Mansurs, Maison Lacour, Sullivan’s, Fleming’s?
LSU is only a winner, and only playing 4-D chess here, if and when we land Williams.
Led the SEC in PD in 2024, and hardly got on the field this year.

Delane, and Pickett were lockdown, and Woodland continued to improve from his freshman campaign. Probably a good spot for Stamps.
Bo Callahan was still going to be a damn good QB. Had all the measurables and frame.
Leavitt didn’t even go to his team banquet. Not really the guy you want as the “leader” of your team.
Williams is probably better, but “a far superior option” is a stretch. He’s not Dan Marino.
