What the Faulk?

It’s in the title of the OP. You’re the second person who questioned why Faulk wasn’t on my list, and I responded to the first guy like I will to you, Kevin Faulk left LSU in 98.
CEH was a beast, but he was no Fournette. Fournette only had 2 eggs, and both were against Bama in back to back years. Had Fournette never gotten hurt going into his Junior Season, he would have shattered every school rushing record by far. CEH showed up big in 2019, and did so against Bama, but Fournette was the best true talent at RB we have ever had at LSU. See Ole Miss 2016 for evidence.

Great Tiger/Champion... but no way Hester is #7

A little bit of that, is my own personal bias for Hester. He wasn’t as talented as the other 10 guys on the list, and probably some others, but he was a true Tiger, and I loved his game. Hester had some big highs.

Faulk left LSU after 98.

Historically Faulk is 1 or 2.
Yeah all those guys were hard to leave off. If LSU didn’t have such a loaded backfield in 2011 I feel like Ware, Blue, and Ford all could have been up there. That 2011 RB room was insane.

Top 10 LSU RB’s since 2000

Spin off thread of the Top 20 LSU WR’s since 2000:

1. Leonard Fournette
2. Derrius Guice
3. Jeremy Hill
4. CEH
5. Joseph Addai
6. Labrandon Toefield
7. Jacob Hester
8. Stevan Ridley
9. Dominick Davis
10. Charles Scott
11. Justin Vincent

I included 11 because I didn’t want to leave Justin Vincent off the list. I feel like 5-11 could all be pretty interchangeable. Tyrion Davis Price just misses the list. What say y’all?
Yes, we pretty much dominated Senegal the other day, who is by far the best team in Africa and a borderline top 10 team in the world. Score was 3-2, but we left a few goals on the table. If the defense can hold up for the World Cup, we will be able to make some noise.
Usually it would be, after the Stanley Cup, and NBA finals ended. It somewhat falls into that dead period where nothing is really going on except for the MLB, and they are in the middle of a 162 game season.

We still have the Stanley Cup, and the NBA finals. There are still 2 Golf majors on the year. French Open is going on right now. Wimbledon happens at the end of the month. Super Regionals, and the CWS is still happening. This MLB season has been pretty great so far. White House UFC card in a couple of weeks as well.

Biggest thing is, it’s a World Cup year as well, where the US is hosting, and we actually have a pretty solid team going into it.

By the time this all ends, Football season will be here. So I’d say it’s setting up for a pretty perfect sports year, and my answer to your question would be, no.
It’s an LSU, Texas battle, and everyone knows it. I still don’t think he’s leaving the state.
He will be a Tiger when it’s all said and done.
So much doom and gloom before this game, you would think we would have come up short today.

This team is ready to take on the World Cup. I think we are destined for a big showing in a couple of weeks.

Credit for the championship should go to Brady and Aranda.

This is pretty ridiculous. Yeah O crashed and burned and screwed us for 2 straight seasons, but honestly it was worth it for 2019.

Who hired Joe Brady? Who retained Aranda as the DC? Ensminger was still instrumental for that team. Who promoted Ensminger to the OC? Who recruited numerous players that helped win it all in 2019? If all credit goes to Bill Busch for bringing Burrow on, then who hired Bill Busch as well?

Oh yeah, O did all of those things. You can be mad at him for flaming out, but don’t be disingenuous. Without O, not all of those pieces get put together, to build the greatest CFB team of all time.
Any chance LSU can finish out with Montero, Graves, and Burks, or is that a pipe dream?

A dream finish would be LSU somehow landing Montero, and Graves, and the last 2 guys being filler pieces like Nunez.

Honestly Hampton staying in the 27 class works for me. I already think LSU is going to have a very good team next season, especially if they get Graves or Montero.

So hopefully LSU lands Hampton, and Spears in the 27 class, and sets up for another elite team after next year.

He’s not though

Vijay is absolutely of Indian descent. Look up anything, and you will find information that says exactly that.

“The most relevant fact is that Singh is not an indigenousn Fijian, but a Fijian of Indian extraction, a descendant of the Hindus and Muslims”
I said Vijay is of Indian descent if you read my entire post. He is from Fiji, and Fijian. You cherry picked what I said. Try reading an entire thought.
quote:

So Rai is the first Indian major winner, correct? Vijay doesn’t count

How are you counting Rai, and not Vijay in this? If Vijay doesn’t count, then by your logic Rai doesn’t count. Vijay was from Fiji, and Rai from England. If Vijay does count, than Rai does too. They are both of Indian descent, but not Indian.
I like Rory, but he’s a soyboy sometimes. Getting that upset over a “USA chant” Rory crying like a bitch trying to kick someone out and give a guy a “stare down”

As jammed up as the leaderboard is we could get a three, four, maybe even a five way playoff.

This is what I’m hoping for. A rather boring tournament so far, but that would push it past that.

Rose is within 3 shots of the lead, and one of the biggest names out there for 2 decades, and I don’t think they have showed a single Rose shot the entire day. I didn’t even know he was at 3 under.
Scottie left so many out there this week with his putter. If his putter was even “solid” he probably wins this week. It’s the worst I’ve seen his putter in probably years.

Smalley deserves some credit for not dropping a shot so far. Somebody will turn up the pressure here soon

He’s about to drop one here. Could even be 2. Needs a good pitch.
3 majors total in 5 years? So 3 major wins across 18 opportunities? Minus the US Open, and the Open this year for 20 possible tries? There is no narrative. LIV still has a few of the top guys in the world. Is it crazy they are still winning the majors at a 1/6th clip? It’s still a sham of a “league” Rahm is a top 3 golfer in the world. Him winning does nothing for LIV other than solidifying what everyone already knows about Rahm, and putting him on career grand slam watch.
