He’s a damn good QB, and that’s an impressive stat, but he also only throws the ball 20-25 times a game. IU has 3 running backs they use in a big way. All about controlling the game at the LOS with their RB’s, and efficient passing, maximizing their offensive game plan.
Leavitt and Clark 1-2 punch at QB.

Focus on the offensive line.

Profit.
Brian Kelly would be boozing at Super Club right about now.

Kiffin is crossing state lines to chase down our next QB!

Lane for President!
Longstreet and Clark QB battle all offseason… inject it into my veins.

We’re running a psyop against UT. Kiffin is the ultimate spy.
My QB2! LSU starter in 2027 and 2028.
All this smoke surrounding Leavitt? He’d be the guy to have this much excitement about.
I think Indiana has one of the best teams of all time. Wouldn’t be shocked if they beat Oregon by 20+.

I’m doubting the National Title will be kept within 2 possessions.
I’d like to reiterate the point of, had Chambliss committed to LSU a year ago, nobody would have been happy or excited. There would have been only a 1 page thread about him, and it would have been filled with people asking why LSU is taking a Ferris State QB.

Nuss threw 12 picks in his 4th year and going into his 5th we crowned him Heisman and 1st round pick.

At least Nuss had 30 passing TD’s. Lagway just barely managed a 1:1 TD interception ratio.

I realize Daniels did that too his year prior to LSU, but at least Daniels Freshman year was big time. Lagway hasn’t shown anything in 2 years now.
Hell no. You want to take Lagway and that price tag? He will cost 3 million plus. I’d rather a guy like Clark for 1/3 of that price tag.

Clark and Longstreet all the way.

Lane knows he’s allowed to recruit D1 players at LSU right? We’re not destitute like Ole Miss

LSU needs depth. LSU has already landed plenty of top flight guys, and will continue to do so. We need a complete roster overhaul.

Anyways, he had 25 tackles, 6 PD, 1 sack, 1 FF, across 11 games. 6’3 with 2 years left to play. I like this pickup.

I’d rather a combination of Landon Clark and Longstreet.

Leavitt is still available too.

Is Holstein even in the portal?
I mean Williams entered the portal for like a day, and that would have cost 12 million. Onto the next.

LSU offered Sorsby an arm and a leg. Tech upped their offer, and Sorsby’s GF goes to Tech.

Chambliss waiver has been denied by the NCAA.

Leavitt in theory, is still available.

LSU is better off without Lagway and Raiola for their price tag.

LSU can still land a combo of Clark, and Longstreet and be set.

I think some of this narrative needs to be put to rest.
I don’t really know much about the 2 lineman from yesterday, but Landon Clark is a stud. I’m hoping he jumps on board with someone like Longstreet and they duke it out all offseason for the job.

I’m not worried about o-line. Kiffin isn’t assembling these offensive weapons, to just have a shite o-line where we can’t use anybody. We’ll be alright.
Sam Leavitt
Landon Clark
Hudson Longstreet
Deuce Knight

Still significant options out there.

If I’m Lane I’m taking Clark, and Knight or Leavitt.
Let’s him sign that wild contract, looks out for only Fisch and Washington, then announces he’s dropping Williams as a client. What a whirlwind.
Took me a couple minutes to write. Yeah I’m telling you pansies to relax. Y’all should take the advice.
Demond hasn’t made anybody look dumb, besides Washington. All we know about Williams is his transfer portal mess, and he entered with a no contact tag. Some reporters said look for LSU. Nobody even knows if Williams has been on LSU campus. So no, Williams has not made LSU look dumb at all.

O-line is coming. Patience is your friend. I promise you LSU isn’t going to roll out a bunch of RB’s and play them on the o-line.
Nah, everything I said has truth behind it. If you can’t read a couple of thought out paragraphs, you’re gonna struggle big time.

Y’all need to chill out

So everybody goes into pandemonium, because Pete Thamel reports Williams is leaning towards returning to Washington?

We already know the national media is against Lane and LSU. Is it possible, Thamel is reporting this, because he wants it to happen, more so than having any real concrete evidence behind it?

Lane is a QB guru. Look what he did with Dart. Look what he did with Corral. Look what he did with a frickin D-3 transfer QB.

LSU has given Kiffin everything he possibly could want and has asked for. LSU is doing their due diligence.

Williams ship hasn’t sailed. Honestly the Leavitt ship hasn’t either. What if we get left at the altar, and give Leavitt an offer he can’t refuse, if Lane truly believes we need a guy like him to compete? Lane is not going to roll out an LSU QB year 1, who he knows can’t compete.

Perfect world, we land a high profile QB, Leavitt or Williams, and land the Elon transfer Clark. Clark continues to progress, and LSU has Clark as the starter after 2026.

Y’all need to relax. Lane and LSU will get it done. This is not the Brian Kelly era. This is not even the O era, where we hoped shite stuck, and lucked out a few times. Nor is this the Miles era, where LSU is going to trot out Brandon Harris or Anthony Jennings. Take a deep breath, and trust the process. Whoever LSU gets we’re in a good spot.

Last note. Had LSU landed Chambliss last year I know 90% of y’all would have had some shite to say about it, and none of us would have been excited. Look who is playing in a minute, and leading his team to a semi-final.

Point is, Lane knows better than any of us. Trust.
