per San Francisco Chronicle. Report says its only for football and men/women's basketball. What if FSU/Clemson still bolt for greener pastures? Lordy, who knows.

Other schools in the ACC aren't too keen on having Cal/Stanford join in the other sports because they would dominate them in recruiting and on the field. One coach said he wished Cal and Stanford would "die on the vine".

If Notre Dame ends up joining the Big 10 (they probably will), that will be absolutely monumental.

Just sayin'.

I hate this move.

I don't know if y'all know this, but Berkeley and Palo Alto are nowhere near the Atlantic coast.

Weird. I know.

This did not go how I thought it would.

This will not go well for the big12 or ACC.

You know Cal is just thankful they’ve found a new sugar daddy to help out with all their athletic department debt they have

The only winning move is not to play

SMU ending up in a better conference than TCU is not something I would've predicted a year ago.

They waited until after the deadline to do this. All to piss off FSU. Love it!

I get football and maybe basketball. How does this make any sense for sports like swimming, tennis, soccer etc. ?

I think ESPN is trying to help the ACC stay afloat. Of course we are talking about ESPN. They have proven they don't spend wisely.

Everything that we once loved about this country is slowly being eviscerated by corporate greed.

This shows how lousy the SEC deal was with CBS and new one with ESPN.

I am wondering what Cal and Stanford fans think of USC and UCLA right about now?

We need to get San Francisco and Los Angeles in a turf war.
