LSU was fined $250,000 twice last fall after fans stormed the field following the Tigers’ victory vs. Ole Miss and a month later in LSU’s 32-31 overtime win over Alabama for the school’s fourth violation of the policy.

That was embarrassing. Never rush the field for a team that hasn’t won the SEC in 60 years.

Sorry you don’t like fun. You’re prolly just mad that your fat arse couldn’t make it over the hedges! I’m sure you’re built like a bull dawg so your bark can be more authentic.

Ole Miss was #7 and undefeated at the time and it was the highest ranked win at Tiger Stadium since 2019 so you had some students who had never got to rush the field before.

It was kind of a half hearted storming since it was Ole Miss though.

That had to be the most impromptu, quietest rushing the field ,after Vandy-Florida of course,in SEC history. We were at the game and headed down the steps, ramps with about :40 left. There was absolutely no sign or indication anyone would run on the field.

Didn't even know it had happened until the next day.

I hate rushing the field for any reason. But i think this is a symptom people wanting to get on the field. It's like any top 10 win some fans are like a dog waiting for the ball to be thrown.

LSU fans like to party. Plain and simple.

They’ve done it twice in the last decade (2014 as well). Their student government also came up with the idea of naming the game the Magnolia Bowl and to have a trophy.

But we aren’t their rivals or anything

They also stormed their field after beating Ole Miss in 2014.

It was Kelly’s first top 10 win & we were still reeling from Orgeron unsure if we’d bounce back or go the way of Tenner after the 90s.

It’s still embarrassing, but that’s really where all our heads were at lol.

That game is what lead to the no more storming the field push. Its often cited by the commish behind closed doors as the last straw.
