Bruce is coaching this team for March. If AH starts hitting shots (and the last month has been the worst shooting month for him since middle school he will break out some time) he will be a huge asset in March.

I’m going to trust the coaches who watch him in practice.

And we thought the winless streak in Tiger Stadium was bad....1996??? Good Grief!!!

Go look at the shots Aden was hitting earlier in the year..

It was the same shots he is taking right now. And it wasn't beginners luck either, those were the same shots he lived off of in HS.. and go watch the Mcdonald's AA game highlights.

I really really hope Aden will stick around and we have Aden, Tre and Tahaad playing together next year.

I would have said those we're bad shots even when they we're going in. Even announcers during games have brought up him taking bad shots. I'm not saying he's a lost cause or can't get better.. I'm just saying he's taken plenty of bad shots. Probably 2nd to KD in regard to that.

Wouldn't be mad at it, but I really hope we don't run a 3 guard line up. I don't think we would be able to score enough to offset the rebounding and inside game we would give up.

The quality of the shot is dependent on the shot taker.

Rebounding covers up a lot of mistakes.

Right. They we're going in in HS, but not in college. He has to make adjustments. Last couple of games he's at least attempted to drive though, so there are signs of that.

He has to start learning the right shots to take, but you can’t tell him not to shoot. He is in a major slump and it’s in his head. Only way out, is through. He has to work through this. He can’t do that by not having a green light. A big part of it will hopefully be him learning to score in other ways and take the threes that come in the rhythm of the offense/game. Also, getting to the line more can help. He has been driving more the last few games. I see signs of early progress in that at least.

Aden is young and isn’t costing us games. He will be fine

Time to move on to UF. Gonna be a battle. Need Dylan to stay out of foul trouble so he can stay on the court some. Broome is gonna be wearing big boys as backpacks all game. I’m sure enough bitching about length of game and amount of fouls called has been discussed coming out of B’ham so expect the whistles to be held in a lot of ways meaning Broome gets mauled for about 28 minutes tomorrow.

Protect the basketball, turn them over, don’t get dominated on the boards and I think we can sneak out with a win but it ain’t gonna be easy

Huge game today. Win this one and our chances of winning the conference goes way up. We are 1.5 point favorites. Tough stretch coming up.

Have a feeling this is a loss today boys. It’s not a great matchup on the road. The numbers might not support it but this would “feel” like the best win of the year if we pull it out.

It definitely sets up perfectly for UF… first home game for them in two weeks… They didn’t have a midweek game… meanwhile auburn has the short turnaround after an emotional Wednesday night game.

Auburn basically had light practice Thursday then travel Friday… while Florida has been prepping all week. Gonna be tough.

I’d definitely say it’s a “don’t freak out if we lose” game. I do expect a close game though and it would be good to win a close game. We are 0-4 in those

We got fools on here that will freak out if we win by 3. They will lose their minds if we don’t get the W.

It’s “do or die” here, all the time!

There is no other way. Today’s game thread will be off the charts.
