- Saban's 1st Alabama Bowl : Independence Bowl - 6-6 Alabama vs 6-6 Colorado (Alabama won)
- Kirby's 1st Georgia Bowl : Liberty Bowl - 7-5 Georgia vs 6-6 TCU (UGA won)
To be fair, bowls aren't the same as they were. But we really don't have an excuse if we lose. We are better opt out wise than they are.

Kilbys firt year at Georgia he went 8-5 with losses to Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt and had a 2 point victory over Nicholls St. I think BK will be ok.
