Let's face it and I can admit it - BAMA is BAMA. The brand alone will always have BAMA competing for conference and national championships unless falls into the trap of hiring a Dubose or Shula again. That being said, Saban was a unicorn and the gap between BAMA and other SEC teams from now on will not be like it was in the Saban era no matter who the coach at BAMA is. BAMA fans simply need to face reality at this point. BAMA is still a formidable program with a tremendous amount of football talent and that is good for the conference.

This is the best roster that Deboer will have. Saban's departure roster. Things are not looking up in Gump Land.

That the point - there is no way to know how the game will play out - you take a sure 3 from the 5 yard line - you take a sure 7 point lead by going to half or risk turning the ball over . . . which they did -
Hs high powered offense kept getting stopped in the red zone or close to the red zone - OM had 17 points to show for all of that yardage - you take the points when you can get em - he gave LSU 3 before half
that's why your posting on this board and not a coach

Thanks for making my point - that's why you take the points when you can get them!

No - but he did make decision that caused a 9 point swing during the game

I guess you can make the argument but he should have lost faith when his player dropped a TD pass in the first series - It's not about "faith" in players - it's about in-game coaching - you take points when you can in games like that one - and certainly by half he should have known that points were hard to come by in that game -
Kiffin is solely responsible for the LSU loss

If he had simply taken points when he could and taken a knee before half - huge points swing and Ole Miss wins the game without difficulty - the Ole Miss players ought to revolt
