1. Hiring of an SEC experienced coach in Hugh Freeze.
2. The NIL funds Auburn has.
3. The portal being in play.
I expect Auburn to immediately have 10-15 players that are BETTER than the outgoing guys. (Except guys like Hall,etc)
Just because a guy was not good enough to supplant the starter at bammer, Texas A&M, Florida - does not mean he is not a heck of a lot better than the guy we had lined up last year.
Add to that the fact that we will be a unified fan base and unified team (like Cadillac showed) and things don’t look good for teams that are not in the Big 6.
For the remaining 5 teams in the big 6:
We ridin.
Soon.

Possibly. I need to see results before I start gloating about how we’ve suddenly gotten it all figured out. Harsin was a dumpster fire. Gus stayed on way too long. Gus’s hiring was pathetic. Chizik’s hiring was embarrassing. Give me something tangible before I say “we ridin.”

Need to see it to believe it. I'm hopeful, but I think some people underestimate the hole we've dug over the past four years.

We have a long road ahead. We can only hope Freeze can right the ship. A lot remains to be seen.

Just simply having a better coach should make us better. Harsin gave up before the season started and was in over his head to start with.
If we can build the lines and find a servicable QB (if Ashford can't be fixed) we will have hope and something to build on.

I don’t think most of understand how bad of shape we are in, how inept we were coached, and how poor our depth and talent.
All of these will be astronomically better in the next 45 days.
My OP was made to warn the middle of the pack because I am expecting immediate results that move us past all those guys.
No matter how much better we are - we are still unlikely to challenge our main rivals. (For a few seasons)
But Lame Kiffin will wish he had come to Auburn by halftime of next years game.
