I like Freeze’s optimism that he can turn it around quickly but I think 2023 is gonna be a long year regardless. He has a complete roster rebuild on his hands. Maybe the biggest in my lifetime.

Except he has a point. While I would say that ensuring we have the right coordinator is important, we are also behind the ball in selling Auburn’s identity to kids in the portal. Other schools can definitively tell players their roles in their team’s schemes, we’re riding on Freeze’s motivational quotes and promises that we’re building something great.
Freeze said in his press conference that he had top tier assistants across the country texting him for a job at Auburn. So where are the coordinators? What’s taking so long?
