After tonight, if things hold up , we might be looking at this:
1. Michigan
2. Georgia
3. TCU
4. USC
5. Alabama
6. Ohio State
OUT: LSU, Clemson

Would've helped if Bama had won more convincingly today. I'm also wondering if LSU just getting totally exposed like this actually hurts Bama. LSU losing helps, but getting BTFO makes that loss uglier.

Tuesday night will tell the tale. If OSU is still ahead of us we have no shot.
If OSU is behind us and USC loses the Pac 12 championship game, I think we’re in.

Will the committee put more value over 2 road losses by a combined 4 points with the #8 SOS or 1 loss being blown out at home with the #69 SOS?

Both walk-off losses at that.

We will be ahead of Ohio State. Ohio State got blown out at home by a Michigan team that didn't even play their RB Corum.

Losing at home by 22 to a team with a SOS of 75 vs losing on the road to top 10 teams by a total of 4 points? which is more deserving?

While I’m not optimistic about our chances, it’s always better to be in the playoff than out of it.

OSU isn't falling from 2 to 6

Yep and Clemson with one loss definitely wasn't ranked behind Alabama.
USC definitely wasn't ranked behind LSU either.
You guys literally ignore what actually happens and hold on to anything negative

I think either a TCU or USC loss and we are in.

This will 100% be the rankings.

Seems like a long shot but Ohio State dropped 5 spots after last years Michigan loss. That Ohio State team had 1 loss at the time, 7 point favorites on the road and lost by 15. This year at home they were an 8 pt favorite, undefeated and lost by 22.

That’s what I’m basing my thought process on. Exactly that.

There is still too much that has to happen imo. Possible, but unlikely. If we make a NY6 bowl that will be great imo.

Who will TCU and USC play in their conf championship games?

“Too much” has already happened. We are just 1 more “too much” away. If TCU loses we are 100% in. If USC loses we are 80% in. The ND blowout helps their resume a lot. We probably need them to lose by 8+
