I think both K state and Oregon have the capability to beat their opponents next weekend.

It would be hilarious if Bo Nix put Bama into the CFP next weekend.
I will be surprised if the committee puts Ohio St behind Bama. I think they should based on all of the facts, but I will still be surprised since the Ohio St name carries weight like Bama's does. If they get past the 1 loss vs 2 loss superficial analysis, then Bama should be a spot ahead.

The Big 12 is as good as the SEC West this year. They also play an extra conference game.
This is the worst SEC West I can remember which is how a mediocre LSU team won it.
TCU would be 10-1 vs P5 opponents while we’re 7-2. TCU also played better against a common opponent, @Texas, than we did.
TCU currently is #1 is strength of record and undefeated. They have no business dropping out because they have to play an extra game.

I hope we make it so we can see Bryce one more time (at least) in a Bama uniform. I don’t think he plays if it’s not the playoffs and who could blame him. I’d really like to see him at 100% and I think he’d be there by the time the playoff games start.

The problem for us is the SEC West sucks which is why it was inexcusable for us not to win it.
LSU lost to a middling ACC team in a pseudo home game.
We barely beat TU’s backup QB.
Arkansas lost to a 4 loss G5 team. A&M lost to a 6 loss G5 team.
Auburn got blown out in JHS.

I’ve seen nothing from our team to suggest we would beat any good team.
We gave up nearly 400 yards today to a team with a losing record running a high school offense.

On a neutral field we would beat them like we beat Auburn today. They would be 6-6 in the SEC. They have struggled against terrible teams like WVU, Kansas and Baylor.
