Briles to Liberty when Freeze leaves per twitter

"per twitter", aka some rando giving his opinion

I mean it would definitely be a good fit for his first job.

I can see that, and wouldn't blame Briers for doing so. Freeze will do a bang up job at barn. No pun intended.
You know, it's amazing what pussy will do to a man.

Or a FAU writer who probably knows/knew him

Freeze doesn't have mental capabilities to be a good coach. Remember he had talent better than Bama but lost to Bert.

Looks like Auburn is getting flooded with anti High Freeze sentiments from fans and the school now may be backtracking... Especially with Liberty losing to New Mexico today.
FAU also just fired Willie Taggart. There's no way they don't go after Briles here, no matter what happens in the Liberty situation.
I'd fully expect Guiton to go with Kendall if/when he takes the FAU job. They'd both probably kill it there.
Auburn may now be trying to woo Dan Lanning or even try James Franklin.
As for Arkansas' OC, if have to believe Dowell gets elevated here, if nothing else for offensive continuity, although I would expect some aspects of the system to change, but the overall terminology and concepts remain the same. I bet we'd probably see a few more pro style concepts get thrown in like attacking the middle of the field and probably a few more power plays under center and goal line packages, but that's obviously just speculation.
Personally, I wish we would go after Phil Longo from N Carolina, but I figure there's no way that happens. Longo is a fricking offensive wizard and kept Mack Brown's career afloat at NC.
Odom also needs to be kicked to the curb, but dam doesn't have the balls nor cutthroat-ness to do it.

I read an article on The Athletic and they didn’t mention Briles. They had a bunch of candidates but focused on Jeff Lebby and Charlie Weiss Jr as the top 2 candidates. All three have been OCs for Kiffin so they must see Briles as the third option out of three.

Easyish job to face Kirby AND Saban every year and those are your rivals so you have to beat at least one of them consistently.

I wish they'd all annouce today. Not sure why Monday is such a big date. Hearing Ketron is out the door which stinks, felt like he could have a nice role.

We’re about to get eviscerated.
Huge fractures in the team and coaching staff. S&C coach leading a full on mutiny.
Pittman really about to shite himself to 4-8 next year. Or worse.
Many saying KJ gone and the whole team hates him. Body language was pretty bad during the Mizzou game.

Ketron should have started more games.
They wasted his talent.

He looks like he is ready to leave drafted or not. He either has reached his ceiling or future progression will not happen with him under this staff.
If I'm him I would go because the offensive line is going to have holes next year and he is going to be running for his life.
